jer, fap is an acronym for "fancy a pint?' and "a fap" became the ILX only word for any kind of social event organised by ILXors even if pints or drinks were not involved.

ok! i have work from 1 to 5, and work thursday morning, but wednesday evening i'm around and free and i can probably bail on some thursday afternoon class responsibilities if that's the only workable possibility. if you're here as late as friday, my fridays are quite literally empty of things to do, so thursday night and/or friday also work.

i disagree here. you should go to the wedding with him. you don't have to go, of course, but if he asked you it's rude to say no. & so you can go to a halloween party? are you nuts? asking someone to be your partner at a wedding is obviously a big thing - a stage in a relationship type thing - and it would be churlish to refuse him.
