i finally started watching this! it's okay.

I haven't seen this thread until now(I think). I love the fact that the same people who occupied the OC thread are writing in this thread :)

Gotta say that I find this show way more entertaining(apart from the first season of the OC maybe), and prettier to look at compared to the OC.

yeh, just a rerun. ep 2.17 on monday. rumour is chuck and blair are getting back together, again.

funniest part of this ep was when nate and vanessa started playing their own version of the Eyes Wide Shut piano music at that mansion.

overall, kind of a routine episode, slightly daft -- i don't like blair.

i understand that the point of her character is to be so extreme that you're supposed to like her for at least being upfront about it, but at this point i just don't like her. but i guess that was kind of the point of this episode -- throwing her into a moral quandry.

also is that ms. carr supposed to be attractive? she kind of looks like a ferret.

i like that the girl with the class resentments has a much nicer apartment than i do. also that lol cell phones was a sticking point for her midwestern sensibilities

yeah rachael is pretty blah but i still <3 blair AND chuck. hating dan more than ever. liking vanessa more than ever though.

i wonder if the show will take the same direction as the books and have a completely diff cast when they all go off to yale or will they suddenly all find a reason to stay in Manhattan.

even sadder than my love of cheezy teen shows is how irl annoyed i get when they betray the characters and the show's own reality and mfg some bs reason not to have them go to college esp becuz like 90% of characters on these shows have well-established ambitions

Yes, but: Leighton Meester looked super cute like usual. The worst thing about the show is that it keeps Mary Sue's Serena, who is seriously the worst character on that show. I find her totally uninteresting, and I can't understand why the paparazzi have any interest in her. What an annoying, shallow, vapid idiot.
