I'm not sure with my toxic and imperfect family background that I can have the perfect attitude. Although, I don't regret it, living the way most red-blooded American families live is instructive and keeps you from turning into an alien.
Sometimes I wish I grew up in one of those angelic families where everyone is peaceful all of the time but it leaves you ill-equipped for hardship, which is why people like that usually bail when the going gets tough.
