im in the 230s now! i started listening @ 310 so only 70 or so more before im caught up

all of the live shows have been a cut above imo

i love how the next episode after each one seth talks about how freaked out and nervous he was

otm! the flying stories before/after their live shows always kind of delight me, I feel so sorry for Seth but it's still kind of amusing how wigged he gets

I remember a long time back they joked about Jonathan dying and whether it would be the end of UYD, then deciding that Seth would drop a podcast a week later with Amir as his new partner.

I was overcome with love so I sent them an email this afternoon thanking them for the podcast --- and I just got a reply from Jonathan :D :D

"Thats a sweet message thank you Sharon. We appreciate the kind words"

I'm keeping the email forever. Seeing "Jonathan Larroquette" in my inbox is the fucking BEST

i don't remember which ep this is (maybe one of the live LA ones?) but it's been in my head 24/7

jonathan: yeah, well. life gets hectic.

I loved (but felt bad) that Seth was SO wigged about having to sit down for the live podcast. He's such a funny dude that way...lots of routines and rituals that make him tick

and then jonathon stood up!

the whole three microphones thing was cracking me up

they seemed unsure how to handle a live crowd that was full of both fans and people unaware of who they are

this may be me assuming too much, but it sounded like kind of a light turnout too which would cast an shadow of unease and awkwardness over the whole day

also whoever was in charge of the recording somehow panned their mics in to the left channel only??? total amateur move.

it's hard to tell - at first I thought the crowd was super light, but then it sounded better a little ways in. but hotel ballroom gigs are weird, they're not designed for performing/recording/anything really very well, and probably carpeted so maybe a lot of the crowd noise was lost?

and yeah the recording was definitely off

still an above-average UYD episode imo
