given has apparently been struggling with injuries since marlon harewood perforated his bowel

Au Wazza Balcazar (Nilmar Honorato da Silva), Sunday, 30 September 2012 14:43 (thirteen years ago)

how long's steve harper been at newcastle

Chris, Sunday, 30 September 2012 14:44 (thirteen years ago)

perforated bowel injuries marlon harewood has inflicted

Au Wazza Balcazar (Nilmar Honorato da Silva), Sunday, 30 September 2012 14:44 (thirteen years ago)

19 years!

Chris, Sunday, 30 September 2012 14:44 (thirteen years ago)

not having much luck finding an image of Harewood like shrugging or doing a "eh what are you gonna do" face or something

Sgt. Biscuits, Sunday, 30 September 2012 14:47 (thirteen years ago)

tell you what given's got a good strong bowel but marlon has absolutely perforaked it there

Randy Carol (darraghmac), Sunday, 30 September 2012 14:48 (thirteen years ago)

This does not look like last week's Villa team. It's like they're learning from their mistakes! Can't say that about Villa in several years. The finishing is horrendous, but they keep creating chances and playing well together. Cautiously optimistic about the second half.

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 30 September 2012 15:51 (thirteen years ago)

oh bugger. Shoulda kept my mouth shut.

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 30 September 2012 16:10 (thirteen years ago)

deserved that equalizer.

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 30 September 2012 16:40 (thirteen years ago)

What happened to Mark Halsey that motd decided we didn't need to look too closely at the Riise penalty?

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 30 September 2012 20:57 (thirteen years ago)

Gosh that Ba goal! It'll not get the acclaim of rvp against Everton last year because:
- he took it with his leading foot
- he struck it at an oblique angle so it looks more like he was helping it in
- it wasn't right in the corner
but not sure that makes it a worse goal tbh

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 30 September 2012 21:11 (thirteen years ago)

okay, they gave it all of ten seconds, and a replay

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 30 September 2012 21:13 (thirteen years ago)

what kind of fucking defending is that

Randy Carol (darraghmac), Sunday, 30 September 2012 21:36 (thirteen years ago)

(ah okay, I see the Halsey story now. They could've blamed Riise instead, I dunno)

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 30 September 2012 21:42 (thirteen years ago)

saw the first half of this which was pretty shit

benteke looked awful

vlaar a bit dopy in the highlights

Au Wazza Balcazar (Nilmar Honorato da Silva), Sunday, 30 September 2012 21:46 (thirteen years ago)

gary neville's laugh is great. i'm laughing just thinking about it.

Chris, Sunday, 30 September 2012 22:49 (thirteen years ago)

ah just remembered chris waddle yelling "shoot!" when friedel had the ball and lindegaard was still up for the corner.

Chris, Sunday, 30 September 2012 22:51 (thirteen years ago)

so are nani and ferguson officially at war now or what

Randy Carol (darraghmac), Sunday, 30 September 2012 22:54 (thirteen years ago)

there is no sweeter victory than at old trafford, especially when surrounded by all my united supporting friends. felt like the sickness & doom I get during these games had lifted & I felt gently elated, perhaps I'll be less vitriolic in my bitterness re united in future. we really bossed it first half. vertonghen is great! not sure what the first choice 11 should be now. i've wanted to like avb so i'm very pleased to see him come good.

ogmor, Sunday, 30 September 2012 23:05 (thirteen years ago)

100 otm

vertonghen is looking more and more like the perfect signing, the cb that can surge forward, the epl-level cover at lb. gallas was good yesterday but i've still got huge reservations about him his being in the first XI- i feel he's letting kyle walker down again and again in leaving him marking opposition centre forwards under crosses and long balls. hope to see caulker cement his position in the coming months

Randy Carol (darraghmac), Sunday, 30 September 2012 23:09 (thirteen years ago)

hopefully 2 from caulker, kaboul, and vertonghen will be the cb pair for years and years. vertonghen should be given an improved contract and made captain, imo

mizzell, Sunday, 30 September 2012 23:44 (thirteen years ago)

woooooooooooooooo

a hoy hoy, Monday, 1 October 2012 00:00 (thirteen years ago)

Number None, Monday, 1 October 2012 00:02 (thirteen years ago)

yuh thats what im saying

a hoy hoy, Monday, 1 October 2012 00:23 (thirteen years ago)

I was away yesterday and only managed to catch the last half an hour of the game so as far as i'm concerned Utd were utterly dominant. Insane team selection though. My heart sinks any time i see Giggs in the starting lineup now and playing both of the old men was just madness, especially with Anderson and Cleverley performing well in mid-week. At least Rooney looked decent although he and RVP don't seem to like passing to each other much

Number None, Monday, 1 October 2012 00:32 (thirteen years ago)

It was, number none, "a game of two halves"

Mountain Excitement (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Monday, 1 October 2012 07:19 (thirteen years ago)

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:00 (thirteen years ago)

It must be genuinely shit to be a talented player like Yossi Benayoun and end up plonked on the bench no matter how shit a club you end up going to.

Not going to be watching tonight but every time a commentator uses the word 'rumbustious' have a shot for me.

Matt DC, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:01 (thirteen years ago)

oh for fucks sake

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:03 (thirteen years ago)

WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:04 (thirteen years ago)

That was bad. QPR backline looked like Villa on that one.

EZ Snappin, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:04 (thirteen years ago)

what the fuck kind of demented total shitball involves a long crossfield ball into the channel for an overlapping clint hill

a thing such as even dante could not have conceived iirc

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:13 (thirteen years ago)

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:34 (thirteen years ago)

..........................................................

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:36 (thirteen years ago)

Are QPR allowed to practice together? Or talk to each other? If so it sure doesn't show in their play.

EZ Snappin, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:36 (thirteen years ago)

lol xp. Some quiet week we'll need to list a hundred of these, then make up a bingo card to enliven Reading v Stoke

Ismael Klata, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:37 (thirteen years ago)

sigh

hello darkness my old friend

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:53 (thirteen years ago)

How much longer does Hughesie have?

Ismael Klata, Monday, 1 October 2012 19:57 (thirteen years ago)

hard to say. fernandes has swallowed the hughes schtick hook line & sinker, the remit is to build the whole club from scratch p much and he's already brought in like 30 of his guys to do it

it's not really clear whose pockets are involved let alone how deep they are so i couldnt even how big the shadow of relegation would have to loom to make hughes a certain goner tbph

and all the while underneath the floorboards, the twitching of a familiar hideous eye

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 20:12 (thirteen years ago)

oh is this shit back on, i was already downloading homeland

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 20:13 (thirteen years ago)

RIGHT THEN keets and adel on, if we're going down let's do it with a stepover and a maiming

r|t|c, Monday, 1 October 2012 20:18 (thirteen years ago)

You are the club everyone was hoping PSG would be
