has anyone written about rodgers just giving up on the team and playing 16 year olds? its a proper fm managerial reign.

Andre Wisdom youth CB who has been playing FB in Europe/Cup. Kelly out for the season so Johnson goes to LB ,cos lol Enrique, and Wisdom RB.

Yeah, it's great. It feels good to be doing something completely different from everyone else.

the only thing i can really compare it to is wenger playing cesc, clichy, flamini etc. but even then, they were meticulously scouted and allowed to join henry, sol, toure etc.

this seems way more fun, a total disregard of experienced players because fuck it, they cant get it done, might as well give it a shot and some of the u18s can at least be molded into a rogers game. knowing that either option more than likely is now going to end with frustrating results seems incredibly freeing.

compare to say milan where all the talent disappeared and the atmosphere is deathly and it seems like being a liverpool fan, even while in a kinda rubbish position, must be quite refreshing.*

*obv you'd prefer to be winning titles but idk this can work until then
