i went to a gay club tonight that actually had cute guys. alas, i didn't dance with one. they did play young jeezy tho.

god the idea of a gay club where they play young jeezy is so sadly removed from my experiences, can't imagine it

yeah the DJs at this club play rap in their sets, it's kinda nice. i mean this was closer to a mashup than straight jeezy but still, jeezy's voice in a gay club!

delicately? when we had the convo it helped that we both wanted to, but i'd say the most important thing to avoid ruining everything is to make sure it's clear that if they're not comfortable with it, you won't and that that's ok. (unless it's not, in whih case you have a bigger problem) they need to be the kind of person who won't get mad at you for having the discussion at all (i.e. rational) but yeah. i mean, you need to be willing to take things at their pace, if they're less ok with it than you are, and they need to not get their back up.

stress why you want to? make it clear that you're not less into them? i dunno. float it as an idea to think about instead of a demand?

idk i imagine that there might be more factors. your social landscape, how the vicious cycle of partnering around you already allows for that kind of setup, that is to what extent this might already be prefigured as a rational proposal. that said, i couldnt see myself getting past any sort of initial stage where that assumption wasn't already implicitly at work, this was directly led to the implosion of something this summer that i increasingly wish hadn't imploded. kindof a shame.
