The bibimbop at GAG was just okay. However, I am unfairly comparing it to bibimbap at Jinju, the only other place I've had it, where it was amazing. I loved the bulgogi but that's a big plate of beef by definition.

I am wearing the leather blazer that I bought early in the summer for the first time today, and I'm strutting in it. Black, butt-length, fits beautifully, cost me $15 for something that someone once paid $300 for. I feel like Rick Deckard. Or at least I feel like I look like him. Which is a fine feeling.

Me too. I tried, but it's not really for me. I like reading funny absurdist stuff on it, but it sucks for conversation - especially group conversation - pics, and events.

I think it suits my brain better than long form discussion. All my ideas start to fall apart after 140 characters.

Twitter is much better for beefs than blogs. Can't go on too long.

I have no interest in beefs.

Carl fyi yr toadies post made me lol in the breakroom earlier this afternoon. Luckily I was alone in there.

I was on my third go-round of Possum Kingdom when it occurred to me that with the windows open, I was surely not the only person listening to the song (just possibly the only person voluntarily listening to it).

I also like Twitter for keeping up with people that I used to be FB friends with but don't know well enough to communicate regularly via email, and for following writers who don't have dedicated RSS feeds for their stuff (so for example, Lindy West, because fuck following all of Jezebel on Google Reader). It's not idea for the latter because at least three times/week I have to declare Twitter bankruptcy and just mark all 100000000 tweets as read. Also sometimes I want to reply to someone but it's been four hours since their tweet and the tweeter has long since moved on.

Come to think of it, Twitter kind of sucks.

Anyway, I follow the LL's tumblr output via Google Reader because if I just followed it on Twitter, I'd miss half of the posts and that would be :(.
