in honor of j's last day i got a malt from the m burger in the basement of her building. it was good but not appreciably better than potbelly malt imo. but i got vanilla, maybe that was the incorrect choice.

Teachers on Strike: Classic or Dud?

^^ That's pretty active right now.

It's okay about the strike stuff! It's important in general and to me, and I don't really want to get into a debate about it (so disinterested in the aforementioned thread) but I like seeing notable pictures and hearing personal stories.

I do have a new, better job lined up! I start the 24th. I would probably be slightly less happy if this was an unplanned departure, but not by very much tbrr.

The bibimbop at GAG was just okay. However, I am unfairly comparing it to bibimbap at Jinju, the only other place I've had it, where it was amazing. I loved the bulgogi but that's a big plate of beef by definition.

I am wearing the leather blazer that I bought early in the summer for the first time today, and I'm strutting in it. Black, butt-length, fits beautifully, cost me $15 for something that someone once paid $300 for. I feel like Rick Deckard. Or at least I feel like I look like him. Which is a fine feeling.
