MHP for the win - her weekend show is awesome, they get all liberal arts seminar academic instead of just arguing about the news of the day. I like Hayes' weekend show too but I haven't seen it as much since it's on so early.
Maddow is so good at television and as an anchor of MSNBC election/convention coverage. I def enjoy watching her show but it gets a little cutesy and aggravating when she spends whole segments on silly stuff - soundbites of the day blown out of proportion, that sort of thing.

Haven't seen any of these folks since cutting cable almost a year ago. Voted for Tamron Hall because she's ridiculously hot.

ok so this Chris Hayes show is pretty good.
Morbz would be pleased that Scahill has a place on cable news: http://leanforward.msnbc.com/_news/2012/09/09/13759676-america-in-the-dark-about-laws-governing-the-war-on-terror?lite

Another Jennings fan. One of my mom's formative childhood experiences was watching Jennings run through the jungle in Vietnam trying not to get shot. Kinda hard to imagine any of the above doing that.

― Frobisher the (Viceroy), Sunday, 23 September 2012 23:59 (thirteen years ago)
I thought they should've given Ratigan the primetime show instead of Lawrence O'Donnell (much hate for that guy).
― Johnny Fever, Monday, 24 September 2012 00:22 (thirteen years ago)
I even bought Ratigan's book but it was mostly a diagram with descriptive paragraphs.

the msnbc dudes made me almost feel bad for rudy giuliani after the debate last night.. they basically brought him on to yell at and berate to take their debate frustrations out on. it was a pretty juvenile display..

Chris Hayes' Homeland Security zing was great though.

Chris Hayes is taking over Ed Schultz's 8pm weeknight slot. Kind of bummed. I liked the 2 hour format and the long discussions it allowed.

I record Up or just watch it online. It also neatly contains my msnbc watching to two days a week. I like that they can look back on a story and discuss it rather than covering the daily bullshit. I hope it stays a panel.
― Gukbe, Thursday, 14 March 2013 15:53 (thirteen years ago)
Kornacki can be okay-ish on election breakdowns sometimes, but other than that there is nothing good about The Cycle from what I've seen.
― Gukbe, Thursday, 14 March 2013 15:54 (thirteen years ago)
I'll miss Up, but anything that gets Ed Schultz off the air is a good thing.

Steve Kornacki to take up over Up.
