I DIED, I died at that. can I share with pals?

drones are much cheaper than cruise missiles, which was the cleaner-presidential-hands, hey-we-only-killed-a-few-civilians weapon of choice from circa 1990 to 2008. it is not like drones are anything more than a tiny step along the road to remotely-dispensed death that began with the arquebus. those cruise missiles were about 3 million a pop, but Poppy Bush, Clinton, and Baby Bush all loved them.

I posted in the wrong thread but then there's been so many of them.

update: In Fargo airport, en route home via denver. Only two screens in this wing, one with HLN, one with tennis on espn. terminal is nice & quiet.

Also, These Purges of God is in way too readable a font. it needs that death metal wank scrawl.

xp:

well yeah, and we did do this with Junkers, Lancasters, and Flying Fortresses before, but each step still seems a further remove from the psychological consequences of offing somebody, thus making it easier to order.

He was a consultant on 'The Deer Hunter', too but they decided to go with guns as being more culturally authentic to the time.

"Pffft" --buddha (silby), Wednesday, 5 September 2012 21:50 (thirteen years ago)

Paul Ryan has climbed "like, 5/8ths" of the Seven Summits, including "probably Everest."

a swarm of sentient bees (reddening), Wednesday, 5 September 2012 21:50 (thirteen years ago)

And that hot chick that was in Chaki's bed that one time - actually in Ryan's bed, but he was running a three hour marathon over the Rockies bowhunting, like, the last of the mastodons.

Paul Ryan made it out of the Hidden Temple with the Portrait of Henry the Eighth in maybe just under 2 and a half minutes.

"Pffft" --buddha (silby), Wednesday, 5 September 2012 21:54 (thirteen years ago)

This reminds me of 1996 when me and the homies knocked ourselves out with bizarre third-person isms associated with Bob Dole, like "bob dole can gore a bull in once try" said in bob dole's gruff voice

Raymond Cummings, Wednesday, 5 September 2012 21:59 (thirteen years ago)

Seriously we came up with like 50 and they were all great

Or maybe it was 40

Raymond Cummings, Wednesday, 5 September 2012 22:03 (thirteen years ago)

Right trying to redefine "trickle down." George Will today - "With Americans, on average, worth less and earning less than when he was inaugurated, Barack Obama is requesting a second term by promising, or perhaps threatening, that prosperity is just around the corner if he can practice four more years of trickle-down government." Reiterated by Chuck Grassley stumping with Ryan today.

timellison, Wednesday, 5 September 2012 22:03 (thirteen years ago)

Paul Ryan met a girl while he was on vacation in Canada and totally made out with her. You wouldn't know her.

set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 5 September 2012 22:06 (thirteen years ago)

About 43,000 results (0.39 seconds) for "trickle down government"

Yep, not sure who coined it, but they've been at this "clever" attempt to flip the criticism of trickle-down economics for a while now. (xpost)

Ermahgerd Thomas (Dan Peterson), Wednesday, 5 September 2012 22:10 (thirteen years ago)

I hear Paul Ryan does car commercials...in Japan.

http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/09/romney_tax_return_blackmail.php

A second post says that encrypted copies of the tax documents will be sent to major media outlets, and demands the equivalent of $1 million in Bitcoins, a virtual currency, in exchange for a purge of “the keys to unlock the data.”

lol sure

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 September 2012 13:41 (thirteen years ago)

i guess only romney + his accountants know if it's true
