Shall we anticipate the FIFTH SEASON of the AMC series "Breaking Bad"? I think I may.

At Madrigal in Houston, Lydia (Laura Fraser) receives a call from Mike (Jonathan Banks), who warns her that the police are about to arrive. She escorts Hank (Dean Norris), Gomez (Steven Michael Quezada), and other officers to the Madrigal warehouse and points out foreman Ron (Russ Dillen), who was supplying her with methylamine. Mike reassures Lydia that Ron will not talk, adding that she will have a new guy in the warehouse soon.

they went to her office and interviewed her, Gomez said he thought she was too high-strung to be involved, altho Hank suggested otherwise

wow this totally proves your point about the DEA knowing of the Mike-Lydia connection, good job

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 30 August 2012 18:53 (thirteen years ago)

try to keep up here bro

chicago rap twitter luminary (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 30 August 2012 18:55 (thirteen years ago)

that was in response to Number None asserting that Hank/Gomez didn't know who Lydia was

chicago rap twitter luminary (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 30 August 2012 18:55 (thirteen years ago)

and all I said was that the DEA already know Hank and Mike work together/for the same company. which is true.

chicago rap twitter luminary (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 30 August 2012 18:56 (thirteen years ago)

but OMG you guys have totally figured out the super-secret clue in the photos Hank was looking at, blowjobs all around

well some dude in germany making chicken nuggets "works for the same company"

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 30 August 2012 18:58 (thirteen years ago)

there's no evidence that they have any idea that there's a Mike-Lydia connection so if they indeed saw her meeting him in a diner while he's under police surveillance it would be a big deal bro

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 30 August 2012 19:00 (thirteen years ago)

yeah, they just came in and asked for Ron, so she pointed him out. They didn't come in and ask for the person who is their methylamine supplier. As far as they know, they did Lydia a favor by removing a criminal from her legitimate business operations

rayuela, Thursday, 30 August 2012 19:03 (thirteen years ago)

a really unpredictable thing for this show to do would be for Lydia to outsmart everyone and escape unscathed. which we all know is not going to happen.

vincent black shadow giallo (Edward III), Thursday, 30 August 2012 19:55 (thirteen years ago)

walt has to off the lawyer. but not before getting his hands on the payoff money. at which point he thinks, fuck these guys, who cares if they flip, i'm going to set up a meth lab somewhere far, far away. he's got no family any more anyway. saul can hook me up with a new identity, he knows a guy.

I've said too much

chicago rap twitter luminary (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 30 August 2012 21:27 (thirteen years ago)

Come on, that was obvious though. I called the Hank/Mike connection in s01e01.

wk, Thursday, 30 August 2012 22:00 (thirteen years ago)

and I wrote it down in my diary

wk, Thursday, 30 August 2012 22:01 (thirteen years ago)

Yeah. The Curb Your Enthusiasm music on blackout would have worked even better with this episode, something tremendously comic about how thoroughly Walt fucks everything up

I love this meme.

Saul as wacky neighbor

That's pretty much already his function on this show, isn't it? Easy transition.

so great.

he's goofy, but saul is actually the voice of reason compared to walt's irrationality. so it's actually kind of an inversion of the jerry/kramer dynamic.

wk, Friday, 31 August 2012 18:52 (thirteen years ago)

Fair point.

cue "White Rabbit" (kenan), Friday, 31 August 2012 18:58 (thirteen years ago)

But then again, everyone on the show is the voice of reason compared to Walt, so by that measure, Saul can just be filed under the general category of "not Walt".

cue "White Rabbit" (kenan), Friday, 31 August 2012 18:59 (thirteen years ago)

Easy to forget and maybe I have, too, but I could have sworn way back when that Walt (and Jesse but really Walt) had to forcibly conscript Saul into service way back when!

Josh in Chicago, Friday, 31 August 2012 19:11 (thirteen years ago)

Oh, I just realised that Todd's connections inside prison will be useful for offing Mike's guys. That was probably obvious, but I couldn't think of a way for Walt to get to them. D'oh.

yeah definitely, which is also kind of a funny inversion of a show like seinfeld if you think about it. instead of the straight man surrounded by a cast of unreliable wackos, the protagonist is the irrational, unreasonable weirdo. or at least that's how it has ended up. wasn't that way in the tuco days.

wk, Friday, 31 August 2012 21:01 (thirteen years ago)

Tuco still the best antagonist.

I kind of agree although I know the cult of gus has made that claim seem like a challop now.
