1st year of Uni, living on campus eating 2 minute noodles and drinking free beer every Thursday. Lot of Doc Martens, lot of torn loose-fit Levis, lot of baggy hats and chunky silver earrings

I'm in the White Gravy camp - I still have half the clothes I used to wear, and I still listen to a lot of the same music lol

94 was my first year of high school. I got my first CD player for my birthday that year. And, I believe, the Lion King soundtrack.

sophomore-junior year of high school. played in a ska-punk band. started smoking pot. basically lived and breathed ska-punk (and pot). considered myself a rudie. wore tie-dyes a lot though.

I used to listen to a ton of podcasts and lately I've found that UYD is the only legit one that I love, that I can't wait to hear each week, that leaves me feeling good. it's not ever a chore.

and it's the only one that has such sincere thankyous. Seth is <3

besides uyd the only comedy podcasts i love are How did this get made? and Thrilling Adventure Hour, but those are way below.

i love how every once in a while, they'll take a snipe at comedy podcasts "where everyone does wacky characters". paraphrasing there, but I've heard them say something like that two or three times. I like to think they're specifically calling out Comedy Bang Bang. That shit is excruciating.

I basically have this thread to thank for me starting on this podcast. I thought I wrote this here before but I tried it a few yrs ago when someone told me about it and it 100% did not stick, but around the time this thread started I decided I needed to try again and I think I have listened to like 2/3 of the backlog since then. For a minute there when I was in school it was like 4 eps a day.

also, I think I might sound 100% dork city for saying this but have you guys noticed that the intro/outro music has changed quite a bit lately? lots more like, heartbroken love songs and stuff. Jah needs a hug maybe

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the change. I wish to hell they'd go back to talking over the intro though.

it used to be 30 seconds in the old episodes! now they play the whole song. which is often nice but sometimes just uuuuuuuuugh start talking lol

im in the 230s now! i started listening @ 310 so only 70 or so more before im caught up

all of the live shows have been a cut above imo

i love how the next episode after each one seth talks about how freaked out and nervous he was

otm! the flying stories before/after their live shows always kind of delight me, I feel so sorry for Seth but it's still kind of amusing how wigged he gets
