I'm side-stepping most of these comments since I've only seen the first two episodes - knew the season was coming but got caught up in th Olympics.

This is probably my last season watching PR. The magic is gone or something, I just don't care as much, it feels like I'm watching the same season for the fourth time in a row somehow.

Can't believe that both Elena (whom I thought would've been eliminated four challenges ago) and Alicia (ditto) are still in the competition. Doubly astonished that Elena's look was in the top this episode -- so bulky and fug!

I actually kind of dig Elena's stuff...

I didn't like Alicia's...it was almost vulgar how tight it was! And I hated that neck. And yeah Elenas was strange to me, it looked like it was made from trash bags.

I was annoyed that Dmitri's was safe. I hope he gets more love soon.

I'm more wondering wtf is up with Elenas random moments of drag, with the crazy fase eyelashes & hot pink lipstick. V weird, lol

I do kind of like her as a designer.

I too was thinkin abt how Gunnar's transformed into something much more tolerable; it is surely for the best. Did anyone else see the whole everyones-safe thing coming? I think I sort of figured out what was going on like 5 minutes before it happened

That whole 'raising money for fabric' was kind of a shitty challenge, and it didn't even really figure that much into the final judging? Though I was kind of O_O at how much money they raised -- given they didn't seem to have much stuff to sell and they weren't charging THAT much for the shirts.

I wanted to feel bad for Alicia but I don't -- I never felt like she really had her heart in it, it was like she just kind of 'whatevered' her way through all the time.

Elena's jacket looked like it was made from polarfleece...it sat so horribly! And she had to have seen that from the first model fitting, surely.

Fabio's team's collection was yuk, like if Dress Barn did a Grapes of Wrath collection. And fuck Ven. Even if he had made that skirt, it wouldn't have done that much for the collection. It would have been a well-made skirt and he would have still been safe and the collection would still have been pretty sad.

Gunnar's dresses were nice but as the contestants thin down he is going to be fresh meat for the judges. His finishing is really pretty sloppy from what I could see of those dresses.

Alicia was fun because she was always the same level headed person even when talking about how stressed she was. Loose shoulders, kind eyes. Boring designer though.

Kors was so angry when Elena argued his queen of sewing remark!he will exaggerate if he feels like it, angry girl.

I am back to loving Elena, but this time, ironically. Hearing her poop on everything is one of life's finest pleasures.

I wished that Miss Anthony could've gotten the selling challenge! He'd have been rolling into the workroom with $5,000 and two naked boys on his arms.

Gunnar's was kind of childish - one of the judges said the overall look was very junior, which seemed otm to me.
The problem I had with Christopher's, over just ugh that dress, was he didn't GIVE a shit. Gunnar at least cared, he just didn't have the skills to communicate what he wanted to say well enough. Christopher has the skills he just kind of threw something together hoping he'd land in the middle.
Ven, yeah I dunno. He's technically lightyears ahead of Gunnar, he just doesn't have any ideas. Or something. I dunno.
I felt kinda bad for him because he did at least finally find his 'caring' mode to be really into his print and want to say something...I still mostly can't stand him but I had a tiny bit of sympathy this time.

So glad Dmitry won. That jacket was off the chain.

Actually sad to see Gunnar go! :( But when he said that if he had won the competition and that in addition to his new shoes he'd buy his mom implants, I expected his print to be a bunch of boobs.

Elena is hot in an evil way, but her mom? HOMG. SILVER FOX.

Aw, poor Gunnar. It's amazing how much he transformed from BEYOND INSUFFERABLE to actually a total sweetheart who was like just a little bit bitchy at times. Also FINALLY they call Ven out

I adored this episode! Such a fab challenge

Christopher's dress was gorgeous. My big gripe was the lack of movement and that from far away it might read more white than silver? idk. It was a great concept though and that silver material he picked was delish

I personally loved Dmitri's dress. I agree with Deb Messing that it was maybe slightly on the risque side as far as kids in the audience but god the beadwork and the finishing and the color were all A+
I knew he would kick ass on this challenge.

Much as I dislike Ven, I felt a little bad for him getting the arse when Sonjia's dress was just a fucking tragedy of glued feathers and NO FUCKING MOVEMENT AT ALL.

and I kind of hated Melissa's dress. The back was cute but the front was awful, that neckline was terrible for a Rockette. And if she hadn't cutified it with the styling ie that hat they would have put her in the bottom over Ven, imo

but Ven was booooooooooring so I do get it

When Christopher talked about creating the skyline for the top, I thought it was going to look 9/11 tragic (too soon?), but he was lucky that his model was so flat-chested (the Rockettes I imagine aren't going to be busty either) or else it was going to look so garishly, cheap, and costumey.

I got a HUEG kick out of Sonjia's because the skirt looked EXACTLY like her haircut. (Also, her boy is something hott.)

Who was it that said that Dmitry's was high-school jazz team? (Ven?) Because, yeah, it was! Still, it looked clean, chic, sophisticated, and polished.

Jaw actually dropped when Elena was in. She's a cat, for real, because there have been about 8 other challenges where she could've been auf'ed.
