i keep thinking that, everytime someone says he'll die.
though i guess that could be the beginning of the say, the last episode's events.

He certainly appeared to be on the run from someone who wanted to either kill or imprison him.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 10:56 (thirteen years ago)
on the run? more like ready to blow some brains out.
― Know how Roo feel (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:10 (thirteen years ago)
he's acquired his "little friend" to make a Scarface style last stand
― Number None, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:11 (thirteen years ago)
that's how it seems to me.
― Know how Roo feel (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:13 (thirteen years ago)
Buying a massive gun doesn't negate being on the run at all but yeah he could've been in pursuit I suppose.
He could still die obviously but I'd settle for him being humiliated completely in some way.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:16 (thirteen years ago)
If scarface had that gun he might have had a chance
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 12:28 (thirteen years ago)
how the fuck does chemistry teacher walt know someone to buy a machine gun from unless todd or mike have told him?
― a hoy hoy, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 14:58 (thirteen years ago)
it's the same gun dealer he bought a gun from in a previous season (3 or 4)
― WheatusVEVO (Hungry4Ass), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:01 (thirteen years ago)
It would be easier to believe that he created a machine gun out of chemicals.
― Old Lunch, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:01 (thirteen years ago)
All guns are technically created out of chemicals.

I think I smell an impending plot development.
― Old Lunch, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:23 (thirteen years ago)
Wonder if Walt's plan involves acting as the cook for these dubious new dealers who've turned up - expanding his territory more than anything else. They want the blue meth out of the way but getting their hands on it would be better for all concerned. Until they realise Walt's a liability of course.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:26 (thirteen years ago)
or until one looks at Walt funny and he blows them up in some sort of fantastically ingenious method.

It's certainly no "secret" (LOL) that Marvel hugely overvalues its own product. Not to get too completely off-topic.

sorry to break the secret but DC has been known to publish a "super hero" or two occasionally

now we just have to determine which one of these similarly powered characters would win in a fight
― Number None, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 22:43 (thirteen years ago)
At this point, Walt-as-superbeing doesn't remind me of any particular superhero as much as he does Dr. Hill from Re-Animator.

the jar is albuquerquewaitthe jar is the deaand the spider is...walt. meth. walt's hat. jesse. albuquerque
the jar is covered in fingerprints, was the only thing not thrown in the acid vats, and will figure in heavily in a later episode
― messiahwannabe, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:22 (thirteen years ago)
Having your kids fingerprinted is not that common yet, is it?
― Bobby-fil-A (WmC), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:33 (thirteen years ago)
The undissolved jar is a half measure.
― Old Lunch, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:35 (thirteen years ago)
he's talking about the spider's fingerprints on the inside of the jar
― puff puff post (uh oh I'm having a fantasy), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:35 (thirteen years ago)
Tons of kids are fingerprinted. They have lots of meet the police functions at elementary schools where they fingerprint, as a learning exercise but also as a safety function. So, yeah, that could play. But I don't see why it would play, unless that was some special family heirloom jar and/or spider with very identifiable features. Because why would anyone dust the spider jar?
― Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:37 (thirteen years ago)
cause it's laying around at a crime scene? cause they bust into todd's place looking for stolen nannycams or whatever?
― messiahwannabe, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:44 (thirteen years ago)
cause todd carefully wiped his own prints off it, planted it in jesse's basement, and called the cops on him?
― messiahwannabe, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:46 (thirteen years ago)
usually when you search a criminal's apartment I don't think you dust for prints?
― pun lovin criminal (polyphonic), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 23:46 (thirteen years ago)
unless you're trying to figure out who killed him i guess
