Shall we anticipate the FIFTH SEASON of the AMC series "Breaking Bad"? I think I may.

Walter should be wearing a fedora, a tight pleather jacket, a white belt, and skinny jeans.

a beret would match his goatee

Know how Roo feel (LocalGarda), Tuesday, 21 August 2012 21:55 (thirteen years ago)

I do wonder what year it is on the show. Is it still 2008 or 09? I want to hear Jesse say "Yo, Mr. White, you seen these new Apple tablets yet?"

the good clean fun of s1

Perceptive of the New Yorker to note the misdirection of Todd being introduced as a "redshirt" sacrifice, only to whip out the gun and kill a random kid.

My money (fake virtual money with no repercussions) is on Todd taking out Mike at Walt's behest. And then Walt Lady MacBething Jesse to kill Todd.

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 00:28 (thirteen years ago)

was thinking the same thing with Todd/Mike.
also started wondering if Skylar's only way out of this without losing her kids or humiliating Hank is to kill Walt...

Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 00:31 (thirteen years ago)

Oooh! Possibly Mike, a reasonable psychopath, will intervene and convince Skyler to help him kill Walt and disguise it as a suicide or accident or something! I could totally see him, with a family (as such) of his own convincing Skyler that Walt is a threat to all and the only solution is to take him out.

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 00:50 (thirteen years ago)

So many fun ways this show can go.

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 00:51 (thirteen years ago)

fun with homicide!

I can imagine him saying this over a feature phone that he breaks in half when he hangs up.

Frobisher the (Viceroy), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 01:05 (thirteen years ago)

does mike have any idea that skylar isn't thrilled with walt's recent behaviour

conrad, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 06:08 (thirteen years ago)

As the only exemplar of morals and honour that we have on the show, Mike does not consider it his place to even speculate on Walter's private life, and would never use any aspect of it for leverage in business.

ʘ (sic), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 07:26 (thirteen years ago)

also started wondering if Skylar's only way out of this without losing her kids or humiliating Hank is to kill Walt...

She knows herself that he has to die in order to make her life right again. It probably wouldn't take much of a push for her to go in on a plan to help that along a little bit. Especially if a little bird told her that she could net five million dollars right now if he was out of the way.

Re the comic actors going full Cranston: Ty Burrell was nicely creepy in otherwise light 'n' fluffy film Morning Glory. I could really see him capitalising on that in a meatier role.

trishyb, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 07:27 (thirteen years ago)

I'm pretty sure that Jesse's music taste is at least two years ahead of its time by now.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 10:22 (thirteen years ago)

jesse's role in walt's empire will be promoting brostep.

emo mcgee vs ricky hitler (Merdeyeux), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 10:30 (thirteen years ago)

uh you guys remember that they already showed Walt still alive a year after all this right

some dude, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 10:37 (thirteen years ago)

i keep thinking that, everytime someone says he'll die.

though i guess that could be the beginning of the say, the last episode's events.

Know how Roo feel (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 10:53 (thirteen years ago)

He certainly appeared to be on the run from someone who wanted to either kill or imprison him.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 10:56 (thirteen years ago)

on the run? more like ready to blow some brains out.

Know how Roo feel (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:10 (thirteen years ago)

he's acquired his "little friend" to make a Scarface style last stand

Number None, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:11 (thirteen years ago)

that's how it seems to me.

Know how Roo feel (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:13 (thirteen years ago)

Buying a massive gun doesn't negate being on the run at all but yeah he could've been in pursuit I suppose.

He could still die obviously but I'd settle for him being humiliated completely in some way.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 11:16 (thirteen years ago)

If scarface had that gun he might have had a chance

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 12:28 (thirteen years ago)

how the fuck does chemistry teacher walt know someone to buy a machine gun from unless todd or mike have told him?

a hoy hoy, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 14:58 (thirteen years ago)

it's the same gun dealer he bought a gun from in a previous season (3 or 4)

WheatusVEVO (Hungry4Ass), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:01 (thirteen years ago)

It would be easier to believe that he created a machine gun out of chemicals.

Old Lunch, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:01 (thirteen years ago)

All guns are technically created out of chemicals.

I wish to incorporate disco into my small business (chap), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:22 (thirteen years ago)

I think I smell an impending plot development.

Old Lunch, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:23 (thirteen years ago)

Wonder if Walt's plan involves acting as the cook for these dubious new dealers who've turned up - expanding his territory more than anything else. They want the blue meth out of the way but getting their hands on it would be better for all concerned. Until they realise Walt's a liability of course.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:26 (thirteen years ago)

or until one looks at Walt funny and he blows them up in some sort of fantastically ingenious method.

Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 22 August 2012 15:53 (thirteen years ago)

Which is the super hero or X-Men or whomever who can rearrange all molecules to create whatever he or she wants?

If so, maybe he can travel to the year 2012 and get one of those 3D printers to make a gun for him.
