Let’s face it, Gay people are better at life than straight people. They eat better, wear better clothes, and go on more glamourous vacations. I don’t really know why, it’s just a fact of life. But with this great privilege comes a great burden. Not only do we have to make tons of money to pay for all these stupid clothes and vacations, we also have to work out for hours on only 80 calories a day to prevent ourselves from being socially ostracized.

Put me in an airport in Iowa and I’m pretty much the skinniest person there.

I'm sure that buried waaaaaaaaaaaaay deep beneath this article's default contemptuousness, there are one or two good points, but nothing that haven't been made with a lot more compassion and self-awareness (vs. narcissism) a hundred times already.

I will also plays devils advocate for a sec and admit that I laughed when he posted a pic of a chiseled shirtless bartender below the line about "these are our community leaders." Then he did the joke a second time swapping it out for "teachers" and it was just meh.

ok so, i was at the bagel shop, and this guy came in. he was cute, and i think i'd seen him before, but i thought he was straight. so i gave him a look, but he didn't see, and then he ordered. then he turned to where i was standing and gave me a look, and there was no one else standing there, so i'm sure it was me. then we walked out together, and he went left, and i went right. did i miss a step? a nod? something?

Surm, if he didn't see you look at him, then it isn't relevant to this matter. When he gave you the look, what did you do in response? If it was cruising, you'd make brief eye contact, then look back to see if he was looking back & if he was, nod or smile. As you both exited, you could hold the door for him and smile and say something and see if he was still noticing you and proceed accordingly.

Though that's more flirting than cruising... if you were cruising, you'd do the things above + check out his body and if he was cruising too, he would notice and do the same, then move on to basket-checking, and before you know it, you'd both be under a viaduct getting acquainted.

I slept in my cousin's stepson's unoccupied room the other night -- kid is in his early 20s, acting in a Renaissance fair upstate. Room filled with Freddy vs Jason, Halloween and Orlando Bloomps LOTR posters, Freddy Krueger hand, Edgar A Poe action figure, acting method texts, and a Lon Chaney bio. I did not emerge in the a.m. as a horror nerd in tights.

It doesn't happen overnight, but with a little osm-OH-SICKS!
