i've always liked anderson and would be very happy to show his immense quality this season

i think with the injuries and his heavy build / shortness he doens't have the amazing acceleration he had when he joined

i would be all for an Anderson Cleverley midfield. He should have come on for Scholes once he picked up his yellow

I can recall times last season when he was missing more than acceleration - to wit, any desire or willingness to close down or track back when not in possession.

carrick blocking the channels and anderson nipping at heels would provide at least a rudimentary defence in midfield

i liked how scott sinclair was benched on saturday in anticipation of his move to city, either to keep him safe from injuries or to give him a preview of how life will be for him once he transfers
