idk we have spent 50m on Giround, Poldi, Cazorla, looking to get Sahin and rumours of M'Vila are building again. we are also trying to get rid of deadwood almunia etc are leaving and we aren't just buying 10 1m risks/potential bargains and instead are going for 10m genuine talents.

i feel steve bould replacing pat rice is a bigger thing tho. that one decision is the one to make it seem like wenger is listening to the fans and agrees with them about addressing our weaknesses.

so yeah, atm wenger has been working hard all summer doing the right things and i cant be against him for trying p hard to turn things around.

i also think the prudence thing is a misnomer. ok i made a stupid comment about getting rid of fringe players but they are going one by one, it does free up wages etc. and we are only 2 seasons away from the sponsership deals being open again for some sort of warrior sports/chevrolet-esque madness that i trust glazidis to be trying to negotiate.

Well he is the BBC's main commentator from Aug-May, so even if he did live there over the summer... Mallorca would also be in their off season.

a load of british spivs were going to buy mallorca a few years back, trying to get the expat/tourist crowd involved

When I said to my English gf we were going to "Bretagne" on holiday (instead of "Brittany"), and that we could spend some time in "Par-y" (Paris) she looked at me all disgusted and said I sounded incredibly posh.

Nah, he was typically Dutch in that, I am 100% positive. The ManU shirt guy told him "no no, Ruud, we write a 'y' at the end", and he would be a-ok with it. Like all Dutch people. Not saying I condone it, but I understand, because the Dutch always comply to foreign things like this. Which I actually prefer over the English/Muricans saying 'Brittany', 'Par-y' tbh
