Anyway, if we're changing the topic: I had a dream about Dr. Morbius. A friend and I were on a balcony facing the woods at a suburban/rural apartment complex at night. The feeling of the dream was unsettling but not scary. I saw Dr. M walking fast, carrying a flashlight, looking over his shoulder with his brow furrowed. He grumbled about whatever was behind him and then he was out of sight. A guy ran by on Morb's same path, apparently chasing him. The friend in the dream asked me if the guy doing the chasing was a "rent boy" and I said no.

i have posted about my feelings for C before, because he went out of his way to offend me (and i gather, others). but whatever, it's all in the past.

I am in my new place, at which I finally have internet. There are kids screaming in the playground across the alley but it strangely isn't disturbing me.

I don't have dreams. Then, a week ago, I dreamed about this puppy-love romantic love story between two teenagers at a school for underprivileged kids. The romance ended with the boy shouting at the girl that she "doesn't know him, never understood him" and he runs off to a graveyard to sleep in a grave and have sex with ancient ghosts.

The dream was long and detailed and beautiful and I woke up, while still asleep. I was so impressed that I'd had such a vivid dream that I turned to the people around me and tried to recount to them all the details of the dream. While doing so, certain scenes changed and shifted, the retelling was less true but it was better told.

Then, when I woke up for real, I didn't know whether to write down what I could remember of Dream 1 (love story) or Dream 2 (frantically retelling the love story) because the two had several contradictory elements.

i tend to not remember my dreams if i get woken up by an alarm but bad dreams are enough to put me in a funk for the rest of the day, even if i don't remember any details, just the ~bad vibez~

At first I thought surely we couldn't be talking about the same C, but then I remembered how he used to be so aggressively contrary, so given that the prevailing attitude (on ILX, in the world) is highly prioritizing sex, I can see him taking a prudish stance. He and I argued like crazy on the cuddling v. sex thread - or maybe over IM about the thread - b/c he took a hardline position against orgasms.

Call The Office was my old hangout there, if it's still around, but it's probably not much unless there's a good band playing on the night you go. haven't been there in enough years that I honestly don't know what's around there anymore. i blame a sedentary lifestyle and ice cream. i don't really care either way, i just don't feel the need to kill myself with exercise.

I have had a petite belly for a while and have grown to not really mind it.

I started being thinking feeling when I was 18, at which time I weighed 130 and had a 29" waist. These days I usually look at my body and think I'd definitely do me, and the numbers are far different. I'm definitely thick and I've got a belly and full cheeks, but I think I must have been delusional - and fucking frail twig - at 18 and b/c the even with addition of ~70 lbs and 5" no reasonable person would call me obese.
