On the one hand, it's true that the fridges will become increasingly terrible if you leave the doors shut and the electricity off.

On the other, the horror will be contained until they are opened by Khan or his minions.

I'm worried that the stink will get so bad now that the other flats will think there has been a murder.

I feel this dilemma must have been prefigured in classical mythology somewhere. Can any scholars help?
