the parts of the nouisse board i enjoyed were more eco-hippy than ny brodown although the two did intersect. milton parker, scott seward, gott II, rrrobyn, am0n, jon lewis iirc? etc. on like the leonardo threads. then there was the west coast contingent. and chaki, the lone ranger. the "core" group seemed to model itself on the dudes in lightning bolt or something. heavy sideplots involving a butthurt hstencil. inscrutable relationship drama. amusing appearances by hipster strawman spencer chow. *sighs*

the board is too big now for these discussions.

for some reason i still love when that steve aoki thread i started gets revived. i don't know why. most of the best aoki pictures are gone from the thread. r.i.p. aoki jpegs.

i think its always been pretty easy for me to ignore the stuff on ilx that i don't care about/think is dumb.

I've been here since 2005 and have mostly been ghettoized in my own little ilx world, but it has been such a long time that i feel more or less comfortable here if not only because i've just been hanging out in the corner watching people for 7 years.
