Enjoy this show so much that i am willing and ready to forgive and overlook it, but cooking in random fumigation houses seems like pretty much the most ridiculously bad idea possible. Surely mike or someone would at least try to veto.

The thing with jessie is he's finally found out that he's good at one or two things, so it's like his other judgement is shot because he just wants to keep doing something he can get satisfaction out of. So basically he's turned into a more competent gayle. And maybe ditto with walt, but it's not cooking anymore, just manipulating people for the high it gives him.

ep next week is directed by Rian Johnson. he also did the "fly" ep in s3

im not sure, it has some benefits, you cook in each location once, no time for the cops to get suspicious and sit up on yr location

the real flaw in their plan is imho that the feds are all over mike

not to mention that theyre investigating walt and jess even tho they dont know who they are

it kind of does have some benefits but the exposure risk seems hugely increased

ya but the fumigating its a p good cover no, no ones going o walk in, i guess maybe there are heightened risks of something going wrong like a fire due to the fact that theyre breaking down and putting the lab up every time, and then theres all sorts of unknown unknowns like the nanny cam, its prob a ridiculous horrible idea idk

it has the benefit of being so out of left field that no one is likely to suspect it

it's one of those plot devices where it's clear from the outset that its main function is the characters will have new locales in which to function, thereby putting them in a neighborhood at some point where somebody recognizes one of them at some point

or something like that: "oh shit this is my mom's house" or w/e

I don't think walt or jesse would have any compunction about cooking at their mom's house

was the convo at the end about Victor a veiled threat to Jesse? "don't be like Victor and go thinking you can do this on your own or you might get your throat cut" is what I got out of it

the other thing was just Walt trying to break up Jesse and whats her name so he doesn't have to have the kid around bothering his conscience

think it was a heads up to jesse that he could see mike outliving his usefulness if he keeps overstepping his boundaries

it is p unfair that they have to take such a big chunk to make mike's guys whole

ya at first i thought he might be threatening jesse but then i settled on it being abt mike xp

so i don't think walt has ever proactively killed anyone that wasn't actively on the way to killing him, right? somebody who, if he left them alive, he'd have no fear of retaliation? Gus was close but it seemed walt had determined that fring was gonna get him sooner or later. Walt's never actively CHOSEN to kill a man he hasn't had to. Wondering if that's the final payoff here and the end of his corruption.

I like how each of the episodes this year so far has had more of a self-contained narrative than in previous seasons. Gives each quite a distinctive mood.

BTW, I thought Walt's new cooking plan was totally bitchin, ludicrous as it may be.
