DEAR STARFISH, WHO SAYS I USE GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCHES AS EXPOSURE THERAPY? IT DOESN'T FREAK ME OUT AT ALL. EMBEDDED OLIVES DON'T BOTHER ME EITHER. TRYPOPHOBES HAVE DIFFERENT DEGREES OF THE PHOBIA AND DIFFERENT IMAGES FREAK OUT DIFFERENT PEOPLE. FOR EXAMPLE, THE LOTUS SEED POD AND SURINAME TOAD ARE BIG TRIGGERS, BUT THEY DON'T BOTHER ME AT ALL. MY BIGGEST TRIGGER ARE TINY ASYMMETRICAL ORGANIC HOLES (SUCH AS IN CRUMPETS), GAPS AND CRACKS. ALSO BUBBLES IN PANCAKES BEFORE THEY'RE READY TO BE FLIPPED OVER.
