also if they were to say that on campus, it's likely they would burst into flames

of course the guy could have said "have a messed-up day" because whenever I approach the counter I mince.

Ive never heard any of the Chik Fil A counterpeople say that at the ones around here.

I'm not sure if comparing them to fried chicken places is valid because Chik-fil-a is almost all chicken patties/nuggets/strips. It's mostly finger food.

Yeah, this is kind of odd. I thought their conservative/fundie/homophobe bona fides were universally known. I've been avoiding giving them my money for at least a decade, since I heard about them donating to Eagle Forum and the AFA and such.

this has literally never happened to me at a chick-fil-a. i also worked at a chick-fil-a for a few weeks right before graduating high school. i imagine it might be different for store managers or franchise owners, but there was zero religious pressure put on me or any employees that i could see. in any case, fuck 'em.

I stopped eating Popeye's because of the "Annie the Chicken Queen" commercials, and now this. I need to eat less fried food though so I guess overall it's a plus.
