Um. I'm more sporadic than I used to be, but I think I still contribute (in)frequently enough to count. Plus, even when I'm too lazy to write, I put in time curating tracks for review (aka forcing everyone to listen to Marianas Trench and other Canadian chartpop). Alfred may never forgive me.

we've raved about her in sundry places - everyone in the goon thread ignored her which is why i didn't go in there with it, but i think the odd future thread and maybe one of the EOY ones got +ve responses, which is why i thought a crossover thread would work, but obviously not

It's working, you just need to give it time to get rolling. You're the least patient person ever with this stuff (see: Melanie Fiona thread, other threads) especially since a lot of us don't always check the new answers page when we're mobile - just our bookmarks. :P

Oh man, I just remembered a dream I had last night. I was hanging out with Rev, and he was trying to remember the name of a famous person. He sketched a cartoon to try to get me to figure it out, and even though his cartoon looked like the Pringles mascot, I was like, "Oh, that's Bruce Vilanch." But he didn't know who that was, so we went to the Internet to look him up. But for the life of me, I could not type the letters BRUCE VILANCH correctly in sequence -- every single time I tried, I made a typo. This went on for a ridiculously long time. Finally, I got it right, but the first picture that came up was a super-atypical-looking photo of Bruce Vilanch, like he was wearing sunglasses or had on a hat or was in a wheelchair or something.

JW is kind of animatronic at those things by now, which is why I'm glad I saw him present Marguerite Duras' Le Camion a few years ago.
