yeah i guess the first i picked up on it was the story about his 31st birthday where he stands outside Hyde forever then leaves is the first time he seem to imply he was up for 'a drink'. He also gave up smoking and had been a vegan for a while at that point. A month later hes smoking, getting high, drinking, and referring to himself as a vegetarian. Slippery slopes, people.
