caek, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 11:43 (seventeen years ago)

clue for #100: its in the UK.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 12:18 (seventeen years ago)

99. still unguessed. And how did a tilt shift photo of it appear almost as soon as it was posted?!!

100. I feel like this is maybe in Cumbria?

101. Hebden Bridge yes!

102. Newton Abbot?

cherry blossom, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 12:30 (seventeen years ago)

102 I was thinking Devon too - Sidmouth? Torbay?

100 no, not Cumbria!

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 12:40 (seventeen years ago)

There's something about 100 that makes me think its on the west somewhere (Strathclyde? Lancashire?)

And then I look at it again and I think of the south bank of the Thames somewhere east of Greenwich.

cherry blossom, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:04 (seventeen years ago)

Could be Birkenhead or other left Bank Merseyside locale?

Ed, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:07 (seventeen years ago)

I wondered whether 100 was the north bank of the Thames, weast of London, like Grays or somewhere.

102 is blocked from this computer, which is frustrating because my hometown is one of the outstanding guesses!

Tim, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:08 (seventeen years ago)

"weast", nice. East, I meant.

Tim, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:08 (seventeen years ago)

#100 Not Thames, Mersey or Clyde. Nor Lancashire.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:20 (seventeen years ago)

none of the 102 guesses are right, but none of them are crazy

caek, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:39 (seventeen years ago)

Truro? Penzance? St Ives?

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:42 (seventeen years ago)

penzance it is

caek, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 13:43 (seventeen years ago)

hooray for me and random guesses.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:00 (seventeen years ago)

some good guesses for #100, but no-one's clicked which estuary it is. once you know that, the city should be easy.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:06 (seventeen years ago)

grimsby?

caek, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:11 (seventeen years ago)

close.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:12 (seventeen years ago)

ha, hull

caek, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:13 (seventeen years ago)

Yes!

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:16 (seventeen years ago)

I thought Penzance looked a bit familiar there. And I should have got Hull - the aquarium is very distinctive after all.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:55 (seventeen years ago)

99 - North Central/eastern PA, too small for Scranton, hm? Williamsport?

doo dah, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 14:56 (seventeen years ago)

104: Southend / Leigh-on-Sea?

Tim, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 15:29 (seventeen years ago)

104 is somewhere I've been - Filey maybe?

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 16:00 (seventeen years ago)

104 is scarborough, isn't it?

caek, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 16:06 (seventeen years ago)

99 is close but not Williamsport

104 - Bridlington?

cherry blossom, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 16:46 (seventeen years ago)

think Caek's right on 104.

tomofthenest, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 18:04 (seventeen years ago)

104: nobody's right yet, but some people are quite close.

Forest Pines Mk2, Wednesday, 21 January 2009 18:59 (seventeen years ago)

altoona?

iiiijjjj, Monday, 30 November 2009 01:47 (sixteen years ago)

that's impossible but yeah it looks like some pa mining town

harbl, Monday, 30 November 2009 01:51 (sixteen years ago)

why's it impossible? i'm basing my guess on the little bit of yellow i see at the bottom of the beige mercury sable or whatever's license plate, plus the rolling hills, plus the too small to be pittsburgh.

iiiijjjj, Monday, 30 November 2009 01:54 (sixteen years ago)

because it looks a lot like a couple places in pa i think. it's hard to tell them apart.

harbl, Monday, 30 November 2009 01:59 (sixteen years ago)

almost looks too big to be altoona to me

tehresa, Monday, 30 November 2009 02:00 (sixteen years ago)

it's ashland, pa!
