It's fairly unintelligible passive aggressive howling amongst the Britishers. Apparently some are men and some are women and all are sensitive.

It settled down a while ago though and now people are discussing music.

its the same clusterfuck ilm does on default - differences between white/black/male/female/gay/straight listeners in different genres all wrapped up on one quasi-indie website that is a hate figure, strawman and multiple poster employer all wrapped up into one. smack yr head against the wall, it'll be more purposeful than reading that thread. oh and there is about 200 posts about whether kanye reads p4k.

Oh wait, there are TWO threads about this pitchfork poll.

It's not actually that bad. A few moments where people had their feelings hurt and others were a little defensive, but nothing really out of line or particularly clusterfuckery.

Mostly the usual "Why do White Men listen to music made by White Men?" and then investigations and rabbit holes. We've swung back around to Pitchfork's place as a 'niche' or a 'generalized' magazine, and how that might impact gender/racial biases in canonical lists.

lol that was p early, back when people were posting lists. someone had mbfghf at #1 and it set people off on that tangent, then wcc said something, nick wrote a blog and it went from there

Sometimes I really wonder what was going on during that photo shoot...

BW needs to be marked down because I always (mis-)remembered him rocking an eagle head on it. Although I guess that can be said about everything Ghostface.
