Thanks. I tend to not notice these polls until dire circumstances. I will enjoy watching animation films I've never seen before because of this poll

i started watching a bunch last night... a lot of these are really scary and/or depressing.

so far it's looking like my ballot will prolly be leaning more towards 50s/60s/70s/80s stuff...

using the youtu.be links works…I really ought to have harvested links to shorts from the nomination thread (there are lots of links to the nominations in the nomination thread!) but I didn't have quite that level of commitment to copy-pasting things.

I would encourage anyone with the time to please watch the Sally Cruikshank films, Quasi at the Quackadero and Make Me Psychic. They're something like Fleischers done in the seventies, with music by R. Crumb's backing band and mostly animated (over a period of years) by Cruikshank alone. Particularly with the former, there's something richly nostalgic going on amidst all the weird cartoon geekery in the carnivalesque encounters with possible pasts and futures, huckster'd or otherwise. Make Me Psychic increases the pace does better in terms of sheer goofy cartooniness without going into hyperdrive like the remarkable but sort of opaque Face Like a Frog (1987).

Xp "adventure time" refers to the original short than was shown on nickelodeon around 2006/2007 .. they didn't start the series until 2010

1. How rigid is the format of a single line? Is the minimum info that we need simply the ID number?
