― mh, Monday, May 28, 2012 9:17 PM

thinkin it'll feel a little weird to just walk in there w/ this big battery, but this probably isn't a bad route to take

markers, Sunday, 3 June 2012 20:34 (fourteen years ago)

so i hear that apple are bringing out actual computers today, like laptops and desktops. really. who'd have thought?

jed_, Monday, 11 June 2012 13:11 (fourteen years ago)

I am going in to the apple store because my laptop died for the third time in two months and I'm gonna demand a new one, should I wait for the announcement haha

brony ver (s1ocki), Monday, 11 June 2012 13:56 (fourteen years ago)

go into the store, slam it on to the "genius bar" and yell CLAM!

I mean, LAPTOP!

mh, Monday, 11 June 2012 13:58 (fourteen years ago)

jed_, Monday, 11 June 2012 17:14 (fourteen years ago)

Victory Chainsaw! (DJP), Monday, 11 June 2012 17:15 (fourteen years ago)

So if iOS 6 is announced today, how long before it's released?

Je55e, Monday, 11 June 2012 17:24 (fourteen years ago)

retina =-0

un® (dayo), Monday, 11 June 2012 17:29 (fourteen years ago)

Bloody hell, this is like when the PB G4 came out. Gotta have.

stet, Monday, 11 June 2012 17:39 (fourteen years ago)

over under on how much more expensive this is than a regular Mbp? I say 500

un® (dayo), Monday, 11 June 2012 17:41 (fourteen years ago)

2200

un® (dayo), Monday, 11 June 2012 17:45 (fourteen years ago)

15" Retina doesn't do anything for me. There are diminishing returns on screen resolution at that point, IMO. My 27" iMac is just right.

Kiarostami bag (milo z), Monday, 11 June 2012 18:04 (fourteen years ago)

Possibly better in some ways -- this is just a better-looking 1440x900 for some apps. Photos and videos are going to look amazing, though.

stet, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:08 (fourteen years ago)

2200 for the 15", is that right?

the late great, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:24 (fourteen years ago)

when does the apple store open

the late great, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:25 (fourteen years ago)

Non-iMessage messaging systems referred to as "legacy messaging applications." Kind of cocky.

Je55e, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:35 (fourteen years ago)

they've finally merged apple IDs and phone numbers. That was the biggest fuck-up with iMessage. Apart from it not delivering

stet, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:35 (fourteen years ago)

longest keynote ever?

jed_, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:50 (fourteen years ago)

fuck you no imac.

jed_, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:54 (fourteen years ago)

hoping for the post-keynote quiet upgrade to Mac Pro they did a few years back

stet, Monday, 11 June 2012 18:56 (fourteen years ago)

fuck you no imac.

Mac Pro proc bump also confirmed by the verge.

"Holy crap," I mutter, as he gently taps my area (silby), Monday, 11 June 2012 19:28 (fourteen years ago)

I kinda want that new MBP. Lusting commences.

"Holy crap," I mutter, as he gently taps my area (silby), Monday, 11 June 2012 19:30 (fourteen years ago)

I am glad that the macbook pro is pricier, as I am doing a lot of other sorts of expenditures and am trying not to spend all kinds of cash right now. I will resist the purchase, this way.

Seriously, thin as hell, a pound lighter than the previous one... golly

markers, Monday, 11 June 2012 19:41 (fourteen years ago)

Hmm, no MacMini refresh (yet) and iOS6 runs on 3GS? I may be spending far less money this year than I thought.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 11 June 2012 19:42 (fourteen years ago)

fuck you no imac.

srsly. need a new desktop, been holding off for new imac announcement.

circa1916, Monday, 11 June 2012 19:45 (fourteen years ago)

what's the deal with the new airport?

the late great, Monday, 11 June 2012 19:46 (fourteen years ago)

also why can you not add a bigger ssd to the cheaper macbook pro, that sounds like BS

the late great, Monday, 11 June 2012 19:49 (fourteen years ago)

did the previous airport express not have dual-band? I think just the extreme did.

mh, Monday, 11 June 2012 19:58 (fourteen years ago)

Just bought the highest-end 15" without the retina display. My old first-gen MacBook (32-bit) is horrible at this point.
