Dominic What-shisface from LOTR/LOST smells like a dead mouse.

The Android Cat (Dan Perry), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:00 (seventeen years ago) link

Hahaha let's call chin-movements behavior, not phrenology! It's true, though, yeah, she seems to actually be Flick (she seemed to be Flick even before she did Election), and it's totally adaptable as either steely resolve or like wacky-schemey foot-stomping. But apparently lots of people like to watch her play a sweet young woman who finds love and gets married, or something?

Re: family values I dunno, I could totally see Reese having the whole Ashley Judd vibe, just not to the extent where she tells random strangers about Jesus and stuff.

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:01 (seventeen years ago) link

he was married to Exene too. that is crazy.

Tom Brady is the guy you are looking for, the guy who smells of Drakkar Noir.

conversely, chip brady smells like drakkar noir and stale mcdonald's french fries.

I know, right? so I have good will toward him because of that, too.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:02 (seventeen years ago) link

(a cute dead mouse, but still)

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:02 (seventeen years ago) link

the cats at our house lately like to stick their faces in my armpits at bedtime and occasionally lick them, which is fucked up, weird, and makes me think that I must smell like Beef Feast In Gravy after a long day in sweaters. Which means that one dude in Firefly or whatever that Joss Whedon Space Bullshit series + movie probably smells like cat food too.

TOMB07 (TOMBOT), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:02 (seventeen years ago) link

not a cute dead mouse. that dude is busted.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:03 (seventeen years ago) link

Viggo was hott in a fully human, kind of grey and rugged way in the commentary and "makign of" parts of LOTR DVDs. Plus he actually carried his sword everywhere cos he loved it so much, and insisted on sharpening it himself, and secretly bought one of the horses and gave it to one of the minor actors or trainers or something, because he had first pick and he knew she loved that horse but couldn't afford it on her own. I'm a sucker for all this stuff.

Laurel (Laurel), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:04 (seventeen years ago) link

Wow this thread... it's like I never left ye.

McConaheyheyhey has gone on record saying he don't use deodorant because "a man should smell like a man." Which means he has gay sex with his bff Lance Armstrong (gayest name in the history of ever).

Colin Farrel's beard smells like poon.

Big question: Does Botox smell? I know Botox freezes up sweat glands so you don't sweat or something, but does it have its own smell? If so, that's the smell of Hollywood.

Je4nn3 Fuhfuh (Je4nne Fury), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:04 (seventeen years ago) link

Mark Wahlberg smells of seafood and Sam Adams

Whoa I have never considered if Botox smells.

Allyzay Eisenschefter Pop You To The Extreme (allyzay), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:05 (seventeen years ago) link

ew. you just know Farrell never washes his beard, either.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:05 (seventeen years ago) link

How big is the gender divide on Witherspoon-appreciation?

I love Reese Witherspoon.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:05 (seventeen years ago) link

that doesn't help.

chicago kevin (chicago kevin), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:05 (seventeen years ago) link

AGGGH COLIN FARRELL!!! That dude is the worst. THE. WORST. I hate him.

Allyzay Eisenschefter Pop You To The Extreme (allyzay), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:06 (seventeen years ago) link

LOL oh snap

Allyzay Eisenschefter Pop You To The Extreme (allyzay), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:06 (seventeen years ago) link

But apparently lots of people like to watch her play a sweet young woman who finds love and gets married, or something?

or a ditzy blond sorority bimbo who totally pwns harvard, which would be one of the few bonafide $$$$$$ blockbusters she's been in, and was fucking huge actually. I think your drugstore anthropology is coming up short again.

TOMB07 (TOMBOT), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:06 (seventeen years ago) link

I remember viggo saying he only watches movies one time because there are so many great movies from all over the world and he doesn't want to waste time rewatching movies. except his favorite movie that he watches more than once is something weird like harry and the hendersons.

ian johnson's mom + jack bauer 2gether 4evah (Carey), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:07 (seventeen years ago) link

the weird thing about Colin Farrell is that even if you cleaned him up and, like, reprogrammed him not to be utterly disgusting, he wouldn't be cute. I don't get him.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:07 (seventeen years ago) link

In the last issue of Modern Dog (or maybe it was Bark), Viggo had a very sad tale of taking his beloved pooch to be put to sleep and then cremated. He may smell, but dude seems OK (if 'sensitive').

milo z (mlp), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:08 (seventeen years ago) link

I forgot Harry and the Hendersons even existed. WTF was that even about?

xpost 100% OTM RE: COLIN FARRELL, HE IS NOT EVEN HANDSOME OR CUTE OR EVEN "RUGGED" LIKE RUSSELL CROWE. HE'S JUST A DOUGHY MAMA'S BOY, WITH AN EXORBITANT LAYER OF FILTH. Ugh I hate him so much, and his smug unshaven face.

Allyzay Eisenschefter Pop You To The Extreme (allyzay), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:09 (seventeen years ago) link

BUT ALSO OUTDOORSY. OUTDOORSY AND SENSITIVE. (XP)

Laurel (Laurel), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:09 (seventeen years ago) link

Umm Tom I was thinking of Sweet Home Alabama (is that the one?) cause it was on TNT this weekend. You dropped some sand.

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:09 (seventeen years ago) link

farrell is a midgett. he was on a flight to hawaii with me and towga two or three years ago, i was wondering what the fuck was up with the little twitchy guy reading the magazine at the hudson news at lax. he wound up staying at the same resort we were at, we saw him and his date (not famous but dear god one of the most finely created female creatures i've ever laid eyes on) by the pool, he got angry when some dude was taking pictures. never mind that he wasn't taking pictures of the twitchy midget.

chicago kevin (chicago kevin), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:09 (seventeen years ago) link

Plus he actually carried his sword everywhere cos he loved it so much, and insisted on sharpening it himself
this brings us to:

Daniel Day-Lewis. Has no natural smell, he rebuilds his body chemistry for every role.

milo z (mlp), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:10 (seventeen years ago) link

I don't know, Colin Farrel seems to be able to rehabilitate vag with his sweet talk. he seems ok.

ian johnson's mom + jack bauer 2gether 4evah (Carey), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:10 (seventeen years ago) link

Nabisco, how's that lemonade?

I forgot Harry and the Hendersons even existed. WTF was that even about?

VALLEY OF BLIZZARDZ (Mr.Que), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:10 (seventeen years ago) link

wait, what does "rehabilitate vag" mean? I love it and wish to use it correctly.

horseshoe (horseshoe), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:11 (seventeen years ago) link

Nabisco, your thoughts on movie stars are not universal truths, why not just try phrasing them as your own personal musings . . . argh

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:11 (seventeen years ago) link

Actually Sweet Home Alabama drove me FUCKING CRAZY because it put her in the wrong for finding NYC-type levels of fashion and conversation and various lifestyles preferable IN ANY WAY to her miniscule-town upbringing. I resemble that remark.

Laurel (Laurel), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:11 (seventeen years ago) link

Matt Damon smells like Meat Demons

TOMB07 (TOMBOT), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:12 (seventeen years ago) link

Umm Tom I was thinking of Sweet Home Alabama (is that the one?) cause it was on TNT this weekend. You dropped some sand.

One movie that wasn't very popular, you are 100% OTM with your theory obviously. In other words, Mary completely OTM.

For the record I know hella more guys who like Reese Witherspoon than I do girls, the majority of which are of a "no opinion" stance on her. I like her ok, don't think about her much, she's a good actress and seems nice and all.

Colin Farrell should be fed to Rex Grossman before Rex Grossman is fed to wolfes.

Allyzay Eisenschefter Pop You To The Extreme (allyzay), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:13 (seventeen years ago) link

watch the colin farrel porn tape spoof on milkfat.com

ian johnson's mom + jack bauer 2gether 4evah (Carey), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:13 (seventeen years ago) link

Nabisco should re-write his Witherspoon gender thesis for Colin Farrell.

milo z (mlp), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:13 (seventeen years ago) link

(yeah, I think my investment in Witherspoon is clearly pretty odd and I hate a lot of her movies. I like the persona I've made up for her a lot, and I think she's pretty and like the way she dresses.)

horseshoe (horseshoe), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:14 (seventeen years ago) link

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 4 January 2007 20:14 (seventeen years ago) link

I've been reading this entire thread thinking Colin Farrell = Colin Firth.

Oh dear.

Colin Firth smells more like, err, mothballs and washed socks.
