there have been gallery exhibitions just of T0ny M0tt's backstage photos from the '93 BDO (iirc the Bad Seeds played just before Carter USM, mid-afternoon, and I missed Iggy around sunset bcz he was clashing with Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy, but Cave ran out on stage and picked him up while half of Sonic Youth were playing with him)

there's a doco about the ...'96? tour - something like 70% of it was shot by Billy Bragg on a camcorder backstage*, including a magnificent moment of him wandering into a demountable green room, narrating how he's going to reveal the secret of Nick Cave's posture... Cave and various others are morosely drinking from plastic cups and quietly chatting, when Bragg chirrups "'ey Nick! Show us yer Cat In The 'At silhouette!" Cave's eyes flare briefly into gothlord fury/disdain at being interrupted, then immediately a lolembarrassed flush of awareness comes over him, and he turns sideways to display his lazy, S-shaped slouch. "There you go - the Cat In The 'At," says fellow dad Billy.

*all the bands were invited to film stuff, but Bragg was the only one who preferred to amble about chatting to people rather than getting drunk and going go-karting, or whatever.

Dunno, but I've never seen Kermit and Henson together--much less physically connected, au naturel--so it seemed right for this thread.
