I have just starting thinking about making a deep fried pie pie. This is wrong in so many ways. However, the mister is watching Enterprise which currently involves Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap snogging a woman with green skin, so I am allowed some form of distraction, however unhealthy.

I don't have ingredients to make pies just now (also I'm watching CSI). I bet if you wandered out to the Blue Lagoon they would dip a scotch pie in extra batter and double fry it for you. Do it!

I have cleverly taken time off work during Ned-FAP as that last Monday wasn't too good for me and that was only about three and a half hours of booze. I am a big pansy girlie these days.

It's very nice, isn't it. It has a ridiculously well stocked bar with a lot of bar staff, which is always a bonus compared to the horror that is the upstairs bar at the Barrowlands. (I still haven't tried the Carling Academy yet, but I was really impressed with the ABC). It has a very large mirrorball, which is also nice.

(It was a cinema, is now a NICE place to see bands live, none of yer manky Barrowlands pish, but maybe it was nice because I was in a room full of OLD PEOPLE when I was there who don't behave like a Barrowlands crowd)
