alfie is a pretty terrible actor but it kind of works because theon is pretty terrible at what he does too.

not sure about her, her scenes are particularly grating apart from that cool illusion freak.

yeah, i was starting to like dany as a character cause clarke did okay with the rising-to-power stuff last season, but god, she's been just awful ever since her arrival in qarth.

danaerys is made even more obnoxious b/c the episodes feel so unsatisfying in the way of plot development and then we have to spend a fair chunk of it with her crying about her dragons. qarth scenes are only redeemed by neat visual stuff like the charlatan and the metal-mask lady.

well, everybody's dead now so

karth felt like a whole lotta build up and then the whole GREATEST TOWN EVER had a quick flip to being run by goopy ghoulie and ragged dick.

so hopefully we don't have to see her again until she flies in on top of a dragon and rains fire on stuff

Goopy Ghoulie and Ragged Dick would be a great name for a GoT spin off show.

Qarth is the bit that is especially cringeworthy when I watch this show while stoned

Yeah they did not play it up very much, but Jorah was doing that. His turning point is right before the little rat face dude tries to poison her.

bran and ricon can't be dead, right? so um what happened? those the bodies of the farm kids? did theon deliberately let the princes go and burn up the kids? (hard to accept that one...)

It seemed really obvious to me that it was those two orphan boys. Bran and Ricon et al were hiding at the farm, I guess? Or at least they went near it. The dogs picked up the scent. Theon failed again because he's lol Theon and killed the kids to make a point to the people of Winterfell. That's my guess, anyway. I don't see why you'd mention the two orphan boys if you weren't going to use them at some point.
