Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:09 (fourteen years ago)

no -- the straight or straight-acting dude.

Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:09 (fourteen years ago)

When in doubt, always choose the straight or straight-acting one.

jungleous butterflies strange birds (Eric H.), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:11 (fourteen years ago)

That's MY jam, anyway.

jungleous butterflies strange birds (Eric H.), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:11 (fourteen years ago)

i'm only straight-acting when i'm sad.

Impetuous hybrid (Matt P), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:20 (fourteen years ago)

there are so many straights to act you gotta jazz it up with things like spandex

Impetuous hybrid (Matt P), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:22 (fourteen years ago)

non-ironic spandex!

Impetuous hybrid (Matt P), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:23 (fourteen years ago)

Only straight hipsters wear spandex.

jungleous butterflies strange birds (Eric H.), Saturday, 12 May 2012 18:27 (fourteen years ago)

unless they actually have the body for it :(

Impetuous hybrid (Matt P), Saturday, 12 May 2012 19:21 (fourteen years ago)

I went out last night and danced very gay at a straight club that usually has some homo-presence, but it was total heterosexuville there. When a guy finally hit on me very late, he was so far from my type it wasn't funny.

The Reverend, Saturday, 12 May 2012 19:46 (fourteen years ago)

you sure it was a guy?

Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Saturday, 12 May 2012 19:54 (fourteen years ago)

he was a very aggro-looking white dude

The Reverend, Saturday, 12 May 2012 19:58 (fourteen years ago)

i always hit on the black dudes tbh

Impetuous hybrid (Matt P), Saturday, 12 May 2012 20:01 (fourteen years ago)

sry 4 brushing you off

The Reverend, Saturday, 12 May 2012 20:08 (fourteen years ago)

it's ok, i went home and trimmed my soul patch

Impetuous hybrid (Matt P), Saturday, 12 May 2012 20:29 (fourteen years ago)

haha

The Reverend, Saturday, 12 May 2012 20:46 (fourteen years ago)

tsk tsk, buying into "straight-acting" even in jest, report to my lecture on Monday morning

World Congress of Itch (Dr Morbius), Sunday, 13 May 2012 00:52 (fourteen years ago)

Tonight is the first of four weddings I am subjected to this year. TONS of straight people dancing to Bizarre Inc. Fulfills my EVERY need.

yorba linda carlisle (donna rouge), Thursday, 17 May 2012 03:27 (fourteen years ago)

that went well -- a couple drinks apiece, mild cuddling at his place. After last Friday's somewhat erratic meeting much better than expected.

Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Thursday, 17 May 2012 03:44 (fourteen years ago)

Thrift store I volunteer at has repriced the dollar-bin Donna Summer records at like $8-$10 today. Is this despicable/should I say something?

a parker full of poseys (Stevie D(eux)), Thursday, 17 May 2012 23:23 (fourteen years ago)

I mean it's an AIDS-charity shop so

a parker full of poseys (Stevie D(eux)), Thursday, 17 May 2012 23:23 (fourteen years ago)

i think SIDS-charity gives them carte blanche

The Reverend, Thursday, 17 May 2012 23:37 (fourteen years ago)

sudden infant death syndrome

The Reverend, Thursday, 17 May 2012 23:37 (fourteen years ago)

AIDS, whatever

What are you, a Communist?

World Congress of Itch (Dr Morbius), Friday, 18 May 2012 02:19 (fourteen years ago)

yeah i mean if it's a worthy charity then i wouldn't fault them for it, it's not like donna summer LPs are a rare commodity and if they can squeeze a little more out of the spike in demand then fair is fair. people paying $10 for a dollar record are suckers anyway, and if they cared about Donna Summer on vinyl then they'd already own it. Think of it as a poseur tax.

judas, a homo (elmo argonaut), Friday, 18 May 2012 13:12 (fourteen years ago)

Almost all the comments on gay blogs focus on the comments she made about AIDS. :(

Count-Dracula-Down (Eric H.), Friday, 18 May 2012 13:14 (fourteen years ago)

Sorry, the comments she "allegedly" made.

Count-Dracula-Down (Eric H.), Friday, 18 May 2012 13:14 (fourteen years ago)

i mean, i understand your reaction but the primary function of a charity thrift store is to generate income from donated goods, right? it probably feels icky to profit on the death of a musician, tho, i get that. *shrug*

judas, a homo (elmo argonaut), Friday, 18 May 2012 13:21 (fourteen years ago)

xp

How long ago did Donna Summer die?

Pita Malört (Je55e), Friday, 18 May 2012 21:13 (fourteen years ago)

Like 32 or 33 hours ago maybe?

a parker full of poseys (Stevie D(eux)), Friday, 18 May 2012 21:28 (fourteen years ago)

Oh duh that makes sense.

Pita Malört (Je55e), Friday, 18 May 2012 21:47 (fourteen years ago)

Things I learned today:

- Donna Summer is dead (though I didn't know that she wasn't dead before)
- Donna Summer was African-American. I realized that I have always conflated her with Suzanne Somers!

Pita Malört (Je55e), Friday, 18 May 2012 22:11 (fourteen years ago)

Jesse you are starting to serve Tuomasian realness all up in here.

a parker full of poseys (Stevie D(eux)), Friday, 18 May 2012 22:37 (fourteen years ago)
