whoa I never noticed the bees on the Lyle's logo. and I was puzzled because we used to eat the Lyle's treacle cake as a weekend treat for a while when I was a kid, and how could I not have noticed? but apparently they're not on the cake packaging:

Hah, I was thinking that the other smiley face was the first one, but the top left corner was the nose, like it was in profile.

One other thing about the logo: the bottom of "ed" in Fed falls ever so slightly below the writing line. Wheels of a truck? Or am I making stuff up now I can't look at logos in a normal way any longer..?
