There's at least one website out there dedicated to obsessively cataloguing all of these horror hosts (aka doing God's work).

The more you know: Ghoulardi (or one of the Ghoulardis) was Paul Thomas Anderson's dad.

Ahhhh. I saw that was streaming and didn't realize what it was. I'll probably check it out despite your not-quite-a-recommendation. Love stuff like that.

Being a regional horror host would probably be my dream job.

These folks have been doing a beatnik-schtick thing out of Buffalo called "Off Beat Cinema" for the past 15 or 20 years. It's about half bad horror films. They're a little scary, but not in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sense.

LOL, oh man, I should roll each and every result out in the style of an EC host. That could get tiresome after the first seven or eight.

"Welcome back, my little BORES and GHOULS. I see you've come LURCHING back for another DRIPPY DOSE of TOOTHSOME TERROR. If BLOOD is what you crave, then SHARPEN up your FANGS for this CUTTING ENTRY in our countdown ... or should I say, COUNT-DRACULA-DOWN?"

jungleous butterflies strange birds (Eric H.), Thursday, 10 May 2012 17:54 (fourteen years ago)

I would like results announced in the manner of the doddery old composer-haired wizard from that one episode of Boris Karloff's Thriller.

O_o-O_0-o_O (jjjusten), Thursday, 10 May 2012 19:25 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah, I knocked off a couple movies that I thought were kind of cool as a kid: Gargoyles & Devil Dog

I remember the first part of Gargoyles being pretty scary though. I'm not gooing to rewatch it and ruin that memory.

He's sick of the Swiss. He don't like em. (Austerity Ponies), Thursday, 10 May 2012 19:29 (fourteen years ago)
