Haven't seen the new ep yet, so I'll complain about it later, but what kind of community college makes you go to summer school? I just figured community college sort of *was* like summer school, sort of informal, where you just sort of scheduled classes ad hoc and wily nilly.

I liked this ep, but it felt sort of ... short? Perhaps because there was so much going on. Dean was great here, and tbh I'm not a huge Dean booster; I like him in small doses.

I recall before the season resumed the trailer played up Chang on the rampage, so I assume there will be more Chang to come.

what was all the weirdness with the pizza bit at the end? I know it was reffing the earlier 'timelines' episode but was anything specific going on, because it weirded me out?

I've kind of finally accepted that Season 3 feels way sloppier than Season 2 did for me, so while little things annoyed me or felt trite, this last episode I could just lol at the Dean and not sweat whether this still the best thing since the simpsons or whatever euphoria I had going on last year.

Showing the last stage of grief, or that abed realized that everything was still ok, or to remind everyone (incl. the pizza guy, who I laughed pretty hard at) that other timelines exist?

I eased up a bit when I looked at a list of s2 episodes and realized that I didn't remember a couple of them and remembered a couple being a little weak. It's possible that I may have just been so excited by what they were doing in the best ambitious episodes that I was holding this season to an unreasonable standard. Certainly, at least half of this season has been great. I don't know if any sitcom could have lived up to my expectations after s2.

"In the best episodes", I should probably say. I actually really like a lot of the more 'normal' episodes.

The last scene was necessary imo - they had to establish that the group is strong enough to stay close without the focal point of the college.

best momentis when they talk about kidnapped dean and iirc jeff says the dean is probably super busy working on a sexy patty hearst costume.
