underleg aeroboots i have smithed (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:32 (fourteen years ago)

10 mins' stoppage time at Stamford Bridge. Newcastle just headed one off the line.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:33 (fourteen years ago)

Still 0-1 btw. Bad news for City, goodish for Tottenham?

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:34 (fourteen years ago)

Looking all Chelsea, unfortunately. Might be a long 10 for Newcastle.

CraigG, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:35 (fourteen years ago)

Cisse! 2-0. What a strike...

CraigG, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:36 (fourteen years ago)

My god, the goal Cisse's just scored

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:36 (fourteen years ago)

jabba hands, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:36 (fourteen years ago)

i've....never seen anything like that

jabba hands, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:37 (fourteen years ago)

Good to see the Spurs players react so well after their successful campaign to play Harry out of the England job.

Official 10 Millionth Poster (onimo), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:37 (fourteen years ago)

staggering strike

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:37 (fourteen years ago)

Makes the first look shit, and it was brilliant

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:38 (fourteen years ago)

trivela from cissé too

Ms Tum-Bla-Wi-Tee (nakhchivan), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:38 (fourteen years ago)

perfect results, i'm not worried about newcastle tbh

underleg aeroboots i have smithed (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:39 (fourteen years ago)

sweet baby jesus

I mean it's not even like he's spotted the keeper badly positioned

listicular fortitude (DJ Mencap), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:44 (fourteen years ago)

reminds me of Ronaldinho's - obviously a fluke

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:45 (fourteen years ago)

there's been a few decent strikes this season

Number None, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:46 (fourteen years ago)

what a rubbish description by the Guardian

This is getting ridiculous! Cissé has just struck his 13th goal in 12 games for Newcastle and it's yet another beauty! He received the ball 25 yards out after a rare Newcastle break and curled a sumptuous shot into the top corner!

Number None, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 20:48 (fourteen years ago)

Cisse's goal doesn't even make sense. Amazing.

HO WBEAUTIFUL IS THE GENTLYFALLINGBLOOD? (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:08 (fourteen years ago)

eh what makes that so much better than crouch's tbh

underleg aeroboots i have smithed (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:10 (fourteen years ago)

Celebration-pictures-with-goalie-picking-ball-out-of-net-in-background are ace, we should do a picture thread.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:11 (fourteen years ago)

peter crouch is currently sitting with his head in hands - wondering at what could've been.

kid steel (cajunsunday), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:11 (fourteen years ago)

Cisse, man.

pandemic, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:12 (fourteen years ago)

I preferred Cisse's first - beautiful technique. Second is a mad spectacular swinger and has much more of an element of fortune.

Keith pissed on my chips (onimo), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:12 (fourteen years ago)

that's my take on it onimo- modric's goal had more technique imo

underleg aeroboots i have smithed (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:13 (fourteen years ago)

Have I said how much I love Spurs?

jesus, you lot will challops about anything won't you?

Number None, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:21 (fourteen years ago)

I preferred Cisse's first - beautiful technique. Second is a mad spectacular swinger and has much more of an element of fortune.

It could be pure fronting but there's something in his attitude watching that second goal and the way that he hit it both hard but with just enough of the outside of his foot that makes me think he might have meant it.

L'ennui, cette maladie de tous les (Michael White), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:31 (fourteen years ago)

holy holy fuck that goal is insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane.

Thoughts? You must have loads. (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:32 (fourteen years ago)

nn and winston otm

Algerian Goalkeeper, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:33 (fourteen years ago)

He meant to shoot and score and swerve it but I think he was aiming near post and just got mad extra spin on it - it's crazy and beautiful but the first is cool and classy and reminds me of peak era Thierry Henry.

Amazing how many brilliant goals he's managed to fit into his short time at Newcastle.

Keith pissed on my chips (onimo), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:34 (fourteen years ago)

winston ?

Ms Tum-Bla-Wi-Tee (nakhchivan), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:35 (fourteen years ago)

Wait why the +10 st(p)oppage?

Thoughts? You must have loads. (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:35 (fourteen years ago)

i was disappointed, the first few frames looked like it was heading into the near post, but imo he wouldn't have tried to hit it over the keeper from there, i'm saying a wild cunt that came off this time.

underleg aeroboots i have smithed (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:36 (fourteen years ago)

do we have a newcastle appreciation thread?

Thoughts? You must have loads. (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:37 (fourteen years ago)

Very nasty airborne leading elbow from Mikel in revenge for an over-the-ball a few minutes earlier. Tiote out cold by the looks, fell heavily on his tailbone.

xps

Here you go a hoy hoy SportsDirect @ Official Newcastle United forum - FA Cup winners 2011/12, Europa League here we come!

Number None, Wednesday, 2 May 2012 21:40 (fourteen years ago)

I've decided he meant it cos of how he kinda jogs to the right after hitting it, suggesting he's prepared to sprint into the area diagonally if Cech tips it out or it comes back off the bar

pure analysis no projection involved
