I wonder if there will ever be a Stan episode. Ginsberg has already had more character dev.

I quite like him in a comic relief position, a bit like a more knowing Kinsey.

hmm yeah he does kinda have a similar role to Kinsey (who was also one-half of a "team" with Peggy)

that was totally a Betty Draper move! only Sally is even sneakier

loved the roger/sally stuff. thought this was a brilliant episode, they're just mining this surreal banality thing really fucking hard now and it's paying off bigtime.

what's the age difference between sally/glen?

Also, Mr. Belding really let himself go.

I think she was in a headspace to fuck anyone who didn't have two heads. Pete was lucky. And now he's a stalker. Except, wtf was that heart in the foggy glass? This has disaster written all over it, except this is Mad Men...so we'll probably never see anything about it ever again.

Peggy failing at the banter slayed me.

The Beatles montage at the end was a bit on the nose but I thought it worked pretty well.

pete in the hotel room also great.

Also "on the nose" endings are awesome and adorable. I like it when shows aren't afraid of artifice. That's always been a mad men strength.

Also, Mr. Belding really let himself go.

i saw "mr. belding" references on twitter and not having seen much saved by the bell i thought it might be a reference to the ad agency foote, cone & belding.

poor peggy, she really got a lot of shit heaped on her this episode, with the "pizza house" phone calls and don calling her jealous and messing up the tag line with cool whip... the writers just did not want to let her win.

and they are pushing the dramatic parallels thing so hard this season. i like it, but it's starting to feel overdone.

alexis bledel is really pretty, huh.

expect we'll be seeing trudy pretty soon, probably at the office.

yeah, and i thought he put the needle down more towards the middle/end. maybe i need to rewatch, but megan did make a big point about how don had to play this one particular song.
