Is it true that the FA have refused to rescind the red card for the QPR defender and to punish Balotelli for attempted GBH? If so, what explanations did they give?

idk the balotelli red wouldn't have happened if he had been correctly sent off earlier....possibly not applicable to all of criminal justice but it has some sense

in that reading, sending off a deranged player is a merciful act that prevents them from further censure incurred from later episodes of violence
