apt pupil is a really underrated king adaptation but not sure it counts as horror

yeah, I had it on the list but pulled it for reasons similar to Misery not really fitting into a horror poll (despite being a mainstream precursor to what would end up being called "torture porn", lol)

Both Creepshows are already nominated.

SHOULD I SEE: the dead zone? Always avoided it due to STEPHEN KING MOVIE (with aforementioned quality exceptions)

Thinner is one of the most grotesquely racist and sexist films i've ever seen in my life. I'd go along with the idea that only Carrie and the Shining are worth seeing - and i think both are fairly over-rated.

rewatched a ton of classic 70s horror pix w/ my teenage brother-in-law years ago, was kind of shocked to come out realizing carrie is a stone cold classic

I liked but did not love the shining, until the recent DVD remasters restored it to some sort of eyebreaking glory

dead zone totally worth it for walken's perf

The Dead Zone is a must-see.

xpost I wouldn't put it on my top 50 horror ballot, but it's a great movie-length Twilight Zone starring Christopher Walken.

I went on a terrible date to see Wishmaster and hated it and I am not sure whether it was the date or the movie.

wishmaster is a truly terrible movie, but andrew divoff is awesome as the djinn/villain, and he's even better in the troll 2 quality sequel.

Which village of the damned is better, 1960 or 1995? I see that '95 is directed by carpenter. I have seen nothing else by wolf rilla.
