the reason i like him personally has really not that much to do w/whether hes a good or a bad guy or w/e but its as ive mentioned before in this v thread he is so true to life, just an amazing character, such a total type of guy of my generation, hes so prevalent irl but so underrepresented in popular art
so otm

Nhex, Monday, 2 April 2012 15:15 (fourteen years ago)

That was really cute.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Monday, 2 April 2012 15:48 (fourteen years ago)

everybody on this show is an asshole
― 1 week to "Charles Dingus" (forksclovetofu), Monday, April 2, 2012
in conclusion, to all of you making this point, what an uninteresting observation
― lag∞n, Monday, April 2, 2012 3:02 PM

my point isn't "what a cutting riposte i have crafted"; it's that i don't need to sympathize with any of the characters to appreciate the artistry of the show. "I can't care about any of the characters" is such a weird criticism to me unless what you're saying is that you find them poorly scripted or acted. Reprehensible characters are interesting characters!

Oh no way! He just watched her die! Omg. Fuck!

wolf kabob (ENBB), Monday, 2 April 2012 23:46 (fourteen years ago)

IT. BEGINS.

Marty McBrundlefly (Deric W. Haircare), Monday, 2 April 2012 23:46 (fourteen years ago)

The fuck!

wolf kabob (ENBB), Monday, 2 April 2012 23:48 (fourteen years ago)

Going straight into the next which I think is the last in this season. Oh. My. God.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Monday, 2 April 2012 23:49 (fourteen years ago)

shit begins to get a bit cosmic right here iirc

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Monday, 2 April 2012 23:52 (fourteen years ago)

jane's death really does feel like a major turning point for Walt, huh. kind of an all bets are off moment.

Clay, Monday, 2 April 2012 23:55 (fourteen years ago)

You're in the front seat, and you've just started your descent. You know the roller coaster is falling even though you won't feel it for a minute, but when you do...hang on tight.

Marty McBrundlefly (Deric W. Haircare), Monday, 2 April 2012 23:55 (fourteen years ago)

you have never truly known love till today

I was worried that all of the "just you wait!" comments were going to raise your expectations so high that you would be disappointed or at least, not particularly shocked at what happened but I forgot about this part.

carl agatha, Tuesday, 3 April 2012 12:37 (fourteen years ago)

They dragged it out in a agonizing way too so that she kept gurgling and he just kept standing there watching her to the point where I literally jumped off the couch and said "Save her!" a couple seconds before she finally died.

Little mad at the ending of that season too. After all that foreshadowing of the accident in the credits all they leave you with is floating teddy bear?! Not cool BB, not cool. At least I know I can just watch the next tonight. I'd have been pissed if I'd watched this in real time and had to wait a whole week for the next ep.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:02 (fourteen years ago)

Everyone but me hates the plane crash. It's aiight.

hot and brothered (Eric H.), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:03 (fourteen years ago)

In general or how they left it like that. I am just mad that they cut it off where they did. I have to see what happens with it next to determine if I'm mad at it in general.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:13 (fourteen years ago)

In the interest of keeping your immersion spoiler-free, I'll just say I feel that the crash fits into the overall arc just fine. (Tho, yes, the repeated flash-forwards throughout S2 were a big ol' bait-and-switch.)

hot and brothered (Eric H.), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:45 (fourteen years ago)

I appreciate your avoidance of spoilers. Also, hell yeah they were!

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:46 (fourteen years ago)

the titles of the 1st, 4th, 10th and 13th episodes - "737" "Down" "Over" "ABQ". Those bastards

Number None, Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:50 (fourteen years ago)

yeah this is the problem, the crash itself, that episode etc are fine

lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:52 (fourteen years ago)

I hadn't even noticed the titles!

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:54 (fourteen years ago)

don't worry, no one did

Number None, Tuesday, 3 April 2012 17:54 (fourteen years ago)

no one but number none

diamanda ram dass (Edward III), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 18:10 (fourteen years ago)

is that a diss? I meant it was picked up by the internet after the fact

Number None, Tuesday, 3 April 2012 18:11 (fourteen years ago)

also s3 = anticipate more yelling at the tv screen

diamanda ram dass (Edward III), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 18:12 (fourteen years ago)

no dis! I like the ring of it

diamanda ram dass (Edward III), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 18:12 (fourteen years ago)

ah, well i can't take credit for it. I'm sure it was discussed at the time upthread

Number None, Tuesday, 3 April 2012 18:13 (fourteen years ago)

NNB, the plane crash sets up one of the great "yelling at Walt" scenes.

Ashes, Pits of Ashes (leavethecapital), Tuesday, 3 April 2012 22:34 (fourteen years ago)

IFT!

diamanda ram dass (Edward III), Wednesday, 4 April 2012 01:24 (fourteen years ago)

Oh Sweet Jesus. Hank was just almost killed by the terrifying Mexican bros and right at the end when he blew the guys brains out I literally shot up off the couch, threw my fists in the air and said "YEAH!". OMG THAT WAS SO TENSE.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Monday, 9 April 2012 00:32 (fourteen years ago)

YES. That is one of the all-time great television moments.

...Moment POLL", that is

Race Against Rockism (Myonga Vön Bontee), Monday, 9 April 2012 01:49 (fourteen years ago)

E, you have at least three more such moments and you have yet to hit what is generally acknowledged to be the high point of the series

lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 April 2012 01:13 (fourteen years ago)

The scary Mexican who survived jumped out of the hospital bed and started pulling himself across the floor towards Walt and there was a trail of blood and THOSE EYES and IT WAS HORRIBLE.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 10 April 2012 01:14 (fourteen years ago)

hah!!!

Nhex, Tuesday, 10 April 2012 01:49 (fourteen years ago)

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 10 April 2012 01:54 (fourteen years ago)

Hey, the guy who was in Election and played Matthew Broderick's teacher friend who was screwing T Flick is in this ep. He's Hank's doctor.

wolf kabob (ENBB), Tuesday, 10 April 2012 02:08 (fourteen years ago)

Well this fly episode sure blows.
