From watching MOTD I see that Roger Johnson put in a performance of stunning ineptitude. Surpassed only by THE WORST defending I have ever seen for Wigan's 2nd goal against Stoke. A square pass on the halfway line that the receiving player just waited..and waited..and waited for the ball to reach him at no time did the thought appear to enter his brain that he might want to, I dunno, MOVE TOWARDS the fucking ball before a Wigan player intercepted it. Horrendous.

Johnson played 3 good games for Wolves at the start of the season and has been fucking terrible ever since.

i like the fact that Karl Henry didn't automatically walk back into the side now he's fit, McCarthy wd've had him playing on crutches. and the 1st half was as good as we've performed under Connor, albeit that we are shit and going down and probably dropping thru the Championship while the cheap cunt of an owner employs Charlie Cairoli to manage the unmotivated talentless shitshower of cunts we call a squad to continue playing gormless antifootball

Yah, from the highlights Wolves looked v good in the first half. I hope Johnson wasn't playing 'cos his wife tweeted that him being on the bench was #ridiculous.

Bloody hell - Carroll looking like a world beater for 95% of that. Wtf was he doing?!

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:42 (fourteen years ago)

What a dick

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:43 (fourteen years ago)

that was pretty stupid, unless he lost his footing. still.

PSOD (Ste), Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:43 (fourteen years ago)

Krul has completely mugged him there. Well played

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:43 (fourteen years ago)

Brilliant save by Krul there, then off the line - didn't think that was handball.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:48 (fourteen years ago)

Ah no, it was. Was all but behind the line too.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:49 (fourteen years ago)

And there's the inevitable sucker punch.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:51 (fourteen years ago)

Really good header on the stretch.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:52 (fourteen years ago)

expect Liverpool to bid for Ben Arfa in the summer

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 12:54 (fourteen years ago)

i was thinking that Suarez would be really good in this newcastle side.

mizzell, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:00 (fourteen years ago)

Carroll looking dangerous today, like he's remembered what he was good at.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:00 (fourteen years ago)

Think a mid table team with aspirations (no I'm not describing LFC) could do worse than go for Papiss Demba Cisse. Second top scorer to Mario Gomez in Bundesliga in an unfashionable Freiburg side. Been impressed whenever I've seen him, strong, good in the air, surprisingly nimble and mobile and leads the line well. In fact I might be selling him a bit short with the mid table thing, he may well be better than that.

I really should have been talking about LFC when I wrote 'mid table team with aspirations.

Wow I didn't realise that Everton had slipped ahead of Liverpool.

Homosexual Satan Wasp (Matt DC), Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:07 (fourteen years ago)

Yep, we're underdogs for the Cup semi now.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:08 (fourteen years ago)

Sunderland would've climbed ahead too but for City's late goals.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:08 (fourteen years ago)

An inch from 2-0, that would've been awful

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:13 (fourteen years ago)

Cisse is fantastic though

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:14 (fourteen years ago)

think the commentator just said that only wolves have picked up fewer points in 2012

mizzell, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:19 (fourteen years ago)

Yup, eight points so far this year. Wouldn't entirely count out us making it nine today, but this is a huge 45 minutes coming up in terms of spirit, imagination, etc even if not.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:22 (fourteen years ago)

why was Simpson holding the post like that? He was basically asking handball it. Of course he got away with it but it seems like a risky strategy

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:31 (fourteen years ago)

Wonderful goal, Cisse 2-0

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:49 (fourteen years ago)

mile offside though

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:50 (fourteen years ago)

Was it? I just saw them pulling us to bits.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:52 (fourteen years ago)

I suppose that makes up for the handball in the first half no wait

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:53 (fourteen years ago)

a good two yards or so

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:54 (fourteen years ago)

No doubt about it. Still, seems pointless grumbling, it'd just've happened some other way instead.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 13:55 (fourteen years ago)

Also has anyone noticed that Liverpool's hideous run of form has coincided with the return of Jamie Carragher to the starting lineup?

Homosexual Satan Wasp (Matt DC), Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:01 (fourteen years ago)

Since Agger's been injured the defence has collapsed entirely.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:06 (fourteen years ago)

Never a red, come on! Ffs.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:12 (fourteen years ago)

At least we'll get an outfielder in goal now.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:12 (fourteen years ago)

What a shambles.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:13 (fourteen years ago)

Lol as fuck

Upt0eleven, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:14 (fourteen years ago)

I would love it if we beat them now

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:14 (fourteen years ago)

wtf was Kenny doing?

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:15 (fourteen years ago)

Reina out of the Cup SF now. Marvelous.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:19 (fourteen years ago)

At least Utd lost 3-0 there

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:20 (fourteen years ago)

wasn't quite as embarrassing as this tbf

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:23 (fourteen years ago)

I'll take what I can get. Clean sheet for Enrique too, get that up ye.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:25 (fourteen years ago)

it's all about the cups. it's all about the cups. it's all about the cups. argh fuck it.

Chris, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:48 (fourteen years ago)

no Dalglish interview :(

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:48 (fourteen years ago)

I'd have a 'what does the future hold' poll up by now were it anyone else.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:51 (fourteen years ago)

hey, look on the bright side, at least doni's gonna get a few games :D

Chris, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:51 (fourteen years ago)

At least we'll get an outfielder in goal now.

Think the last time that happened was Staunton going in goal in the Derby in 99/00 wasn't it. Made a great fingertip save too.

Chris, Sunday, 1 April 2012 14:54 (fourteen years ago)

Tottenham being well outplayed here in the first 15', but I don't really trust Swansea to make sure the scoreline reflects that.

boxall, Sunday, 1 April 2012 15:19 (fourteen years ago)

Predictably, one nice Spurs counter makes it 1-0, VdV with the goal.

boxall, Sunday, 1 April 2012 15:22 (fourteen years ago)

Bale acting like a winger

Number None, Sunday, 1 April 2012 15:23 (fourteen years ago)

otm
