It is only football commentators and pundits who talk of people being "the top scorer in Premier League history" and so on. ugh. i fucked up my sentence! the last bit was going to say "you would only be correct to count them under "league cup" then i got scared that maybe the format has changed or something that i didn't know about so added "kind of" to try and cover myself without editing the sentence so it made any sense.

i forgot what my point even was.. i think it was that you would be correct to use the "generic" name without the branding when counting. but if you add the branding then you would be specifically talking about the brand? I brought it up because the name changed several times and people do often call it with the sponsor name.. whereas people seldom call the FA cup "The FA cup with Budweiser"?

going back to only talk in sarcasm from now on.
