its double funny because marc ruffalo is just going to do his own thing with his restaurant is such a poor summery of where rufflos characters ends up in exactly the way dennis would misunderstand it

i've been laughing at the "lez movie" riff off and on for days

yeah it was beautifully done

i think dennis duffy is one of my favorite characters in anything ever

confession: i didn't even realize the line was a reference to a real movie, it was the wide applicability of it that made me lol

dunno how it being "kids are all right" ref changes my feelings w/r/t its hilarity

yeah the line honestly cracked me up more before i remembered that there was an actually lez movie with marc ruffalo

the line was "they send the kid off to college, the guy's just gonna do his own thing with the restaurant" iirc

pretty sure they call out Mark Ruffalo by name

yah, ruffalo as generic "guy who's just gonna do his own thing with the restaurant at the end of the movie" just seemed so plausible

the line is "dude, you missed the end of the lez movie. their daughter? she goes off to college. and marc ruffalo, he's just going to do his own thing with the restuarant"

I still don't 100% buy Hazel but everyone else on the show is killing
