Mad challops being talked here now. Kenwright's been trying to sell Everton for years, sure he'd have loved to sell to an oligarch but Everton isn't really the sort of club they queue up for.

Given how hard Everton are to score against, I don't reckon you can criticise Fellaini, Jagielka or Heitinga signings too much. It's the strikers where he falls down, but none of those are particularly big money signings as these go. Beattie and Yakubu were proven prolific Premiership strikers, I can see why he signed them. It'd be like signing Darren Bent now only for his form and fitness to collapse.

everyone talks about carroll but henderson has been the really bad buy so far. At least ive seen carroll play well even if he doesnt score. Hopefully both will come good since they're young enough. Carroll needs someone on the right to get good crosses in.

henderson's shown glimpses of real quality and is worth perservering with. adam has been exactly what i expected he'd be when we signed him. billy big bollocks shots from the halfway line, decent tackler but a generally shite defensive game, the odd sexy pass, daft 40 yard passes that the receiver can't do anything with, and an unreliable short passing game.
