sitting in traffic is the most enraging thing

i used to get such bus rage when i had to commute

this is because whenever i am travelling around i am generally running between 15-115 minutes late

Me too, and some people think I'm challopsing when I say that.

Even when I'm not driving, a ride in a vehicle is nice. Sometimes my commute ends too quickly. Yesterday I was engrossed in a book so I stayed on to the end of the line and then rode back.

when you're late and driving it's more aggravating cuz you feel like you have some control over the situation, but today i was running legit 30 mins late to work but i wasn't that stressed cuz once i got on the train there was really nothing i could do about it

there is a particular junction in london that would often take the bus up to half an hour to get past, a distance of a couple of hundred metres maybe.

i missed a film on friday because it took an hour and a half to move from the beach to fairfax (< 12 mi)

nah, my boss did sigh pointedly when i walked in but i don't think i ever turned up less than half an hour late. i stayed late most of the time though. flexible hours!

- i am hardline w/r/t being controlled: my attitude is always "this is how i live my life, if you don't like it the door is that way". fuck a compromise!

well i don't know... i feel like if most people like other someone else they're willing to make some compromises or small alterations to their lifestyle, and vice versa

i mean i don't understand the mindset of "i'm this way and if it means i'm alone for the rest of my life, then so be it" but i guess i can sympathize with it, but it doesn't seem particularly helpful to anyone including yourself

well there are some things i might be ok with changing but mostly not. i'm not gonna change myself to needily hang on to some guy, if they love me at all it'll be for ~who i am~

i think this is a different thing, obv one's character changes over time and is necessarily affected by everything you go through and everyone you know, but it's more...specific things that i do and about the manner in which i like to live my life, i am not gonna change those at anyone's behest

it fell on a pile of laundry so i didn't have to pick it up, then it rolled away when i did the laundry and has come to rest next to the wardrobe. i can't be bothered yet
