Man City are getting off remarkably lightly for dropping a massive transfer clanger with Nasri, who's basically done nothing of note other than annoyingly score against Spurs and is dining out off half a good season with Arsenal. Being top of the league helps I suppose, and City have otherwise had a really good record at integrating big-money signings.

Assists only count for teams capable of scoring from them.

3 of Nasri's 7 assists in one match (Spurs in August). He's looked decent when I've seen him but feels maybe a bit redundant when both Silva and Aguero are playing.

in that squad you're bound to have a bunch of guys who are perfectly capable players who aren't gonna get that many games

Yuh, I'd like to seem him as partner, but he's plainly replacement.

Rumour is that RVP has told Wenger to prove to him before the summer that it is worth staying, thus why we are buying players in March (this is crazy when you remember that Wenger is def. a 'wait till last week of August - when the season is a month old - and see if any bargains are around and if not just play the kids' type). Podolski is the first for good reason though, because RVP is blatently gonna fuck off anyway.

if he is a replacement, it's a pretty good move by Wenger getting him in this early before they pocket a load of cash for Van Persie and the price of their targets gets stupidly high

think robben has a year left on his contract in June. Bayern have bought Shiquiri, and the rest of the team supposedly hate Robben so he probably will be available.
